Great little place to eat after the cinema good choice of food freshly cooked friendly staff

Has been out go to Chinese takeaway for many years now but sad to see it got Food Hygiene Rating of 1 back in August 2024 - only discovered that after recent takeaway and then being ill ☹️ - won't be going back till things improve

The staff are always great and helpful and have alot of great choices of food. I have had to take my mother to hospital for a number of stays so this cafe has been well tested on a number of occasions.

New staff, coffee experience far better, much more positive place 😀

Shame the staff are rude and obnoxious. This let's the whole pub down. Not a nice atmosphere for a meal. I would not recommend.

We ordered our food at 22:40 ish, received confirmation that it had been accepted and would arrive in about 15 minutes. Thought that sounded too good to be true... An hour and a half later, after multiple attempts to call the restaurant and the delivery drivers (we had 4 of them, 3 of them dropped out without any attempts at contacting us), I receive a phone call in very broken English that the driver is outside. He was outside the restaurant. They'd closed. He thought my number was the one for the restaurant, and no one had tried to contact him. They couldn't be bothered to make sure the food got to us, or to inform the delivery drivers that they were closing. They simply accepted the order and then shut. I've put my complaint through on ubereats, but for anyone out there wanting a decent takeaway - this is not the place. The food is actually nice. But it's likely you'll never see the food you've actually paid for.

I ordered cakes for my friend, which both me and my friend found very tasty and enjoyed eating. Now whenever I feel like eating cake, I will remember you. I am thankful to you.

Ordered from the shop not online and ask for delivery they took my money and never delivered the food and still not received a refund

I can recommend the fried rice dishes, noodle dishes, salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper chicken, smoked chicken, chicken in black bean sauce, chicken balls, sauces, ribs, Munchies box, and loads more.... Always happy with the delivery, neve have any issues!

My mum and I came in here yesterday for Christmas afternoon tea and it was lovely! Super great value and delicious food, it was £23pp for plenty of food and 2 cocktails/proseccos each. The staff were lovely too!

Lovely Sunday roast. A bit quiet but it was the 5th January. Will be going back this year.

Ordered on their website at 2am for pickup. Paid online and when I got to their shop it was closed, said open on maps & on the website. They called me at 2pm 12hrs later saying my pizza is ready and has been waiting for me… they come and delivered it , asking for payment again even though it was paid for 12-13 hrs ago . Took the pizza in and it had blatently been reheated . Not a good shop take business elsewhere.

We often go for a Saturday breakfast but this was the first time midweek since they moved from just Saturday breakfasts to all week and from 8am instead of 9am. Very few customers but the food was all available. However as frequent visitors we feel we must mention the toilets , they are gross . Locks hanging off doors , flush buttons non functioning etc . And the restaurant itself is crying out for refurbishment. The food is good but the standard of the fit out with disgustingly dirty carpets etc lets it down . Please throw some money at this restaurant and give the staff something to be proud of Head Office !

My visit was not good, we had a booking for 3pm which i paid £50 for 20 people (was told we can get in 20mins before to set everything up) but was not able to get in until 3.30pm, also we was told we could order separately 'as there was 4 families paying' so when it was time to pay the payment was added altogether so the manager had to divide it all as each person had to have their deposit taken of their bill, there was no communication between assisting manager and manager, And next evening nearly everyone was vomiting and had diarrhea
