The best restaurants in Horsham South East

Didn't have what we originally wanted. Changed to chicken, bacon etc sandwich. There was only two small pieces of bacon. I ordered the hallomi and sweet chilli jam flat bread. Order arrived. I started eating it to find no chilli jam or peppers in it. Questioned this with staff behind the bar. He asked in the kitchen and came and told me it was because they had run out of chilli jam, no explanation of why there was no peppers. If I had known I would have ordered something else! Overall very disappointed

I have to say, the prices are a joke. If you go in for a coffee make sure you bring ten pounds with you. One cake and two coffees, that's how much it cost. You need to calm down with your prices.

Lovely staff but the pub was super cold and food poor. Don’t think they have a proper chef which for the price they should do

We had a wonderful meal at The White Hart. The menu was simple, classical pub food, The quality of the food was amazing, full of fresh flavours Throughly recommend The White Hart.

Expensive but incredibly worth it. Great coffee, amazing food. I’m gluten free and the GF breakfast sandwich is the best!

The perfect country pub..! You don't find many pubs like this one. Fantastic food amazing services and incredible friendly. After a long walk in the surrounding countryside such a warm welcome with lite firers and an amazing Sunday Roast to help us on our way.

I'd rather get a Tescos microwave meal. I wish it wasn't so.

A pleasant chicken Kiev, however, all three steaks of incredibly poor quality. Our waitress, Abbie, was very attentive and we couldn’t fault her. Our food took an unreasonable time to come out for all courses. We were told this was due to a ticket machine error, so we’ll take that at face value, although we don’t believe this is the reason why. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy so if there had have been an error, I would’ve thought the lack of food on our table would’ve been a giveaway. Not sure we would return in a hurry. Nothing special and nothing that stood out particularly other than the faultless service from Abbie.

I visited The Six Bells on Friday with a large group, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. To start, I ordered a cheesy garlic bread as a side for my chicken burger. It arrived well before the main meal, but to my disappointment, there was no cheese on it. By the time the rest of the food came, it was cold and unappetizing. When my main meal did arrive, I was disheartened to see the portion size. The burger came with just a small handful of chips, some of which were burnt. It was evident they hadn’t prepared enough chips for the meals being served, as it looked like we were at least two portions short across the group. The burger itself was dry and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, the onion rings that were supposed to accompany the meal were forgotten. They eventually turned up about five minutes later in a communal bowl for the table rather than on individual plates, which was disappointing. While the food quality was underwhelming, I must commend the staff member serving us. Despite being clearly overworked and rushing around trying to manage everything, he remained polite and professional. I chose not to raise these issues directly with him, as it was clear he was under a lot of pressure. Overall, this visit was a letdown. The disorganized service and subpar food didn’t meet expectations, and I hope improvements are made for future diners.

My husband and I celebrated our 23 wedding anniversary and ordered fillet steaks served with chips, mushrooms and fried onion with a pepper corn sauce drizzled on the steaks. This was cooked with perfection and presented well . The service was professional and polite . The rioja red wine goes extremely well and sets the flavours . This gives a feeling of satisfaction and puts a smile on your face .

Great pub, lovely Sunday roast! Great service - recommend you book as it gets busy and you want to get there early to get a car parking space as it’s not big and gets full quickly. Lovely roast - choices of nut roast, beef, chicken and others :)

Old fashioned pub the way a pub should friendly owner and customers great place to visit good food and beer wish I lived near so it was my local
