The best restaurants in River Medway South East

I’ve been a fan of Zamnig for years. The food is absolutely delicious and the best African cuisine in Medway.

We had a wonderful Impromptu lunch here today — the food was excellent and service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Started w tuna tataki, followed by halibut in a delicious miso sauce w black rice. Lovely w local Kent wine. Highly recommend!

We had such a difficult morning, just stopped for a coffee and ended trying their Red lentil soup (yummy) Cake and coffee. Really enjoyed. Staff were very friendly and kind. Fixed my day. Definitely recommend it.

One of the best kebabs wraps I’ve ever had!! They never fail to disappoint and the special gherkin sauce is INCREDIBLE!! I want to buy it by the bottle!! Amazing guys thank you!! Happy New Year!!

I just had a great experience with this place, that began badly. I've come here to praise the customer service. I made an order which arrived in 30m, but there was a mistake and something large had been left out. I called the branch and spoke to a gentleman who was very supportive and drove out to deliver the missing part himself. I think it was the owner. What a lovely bloke and friendly. Thank you for such great customer service, very rare these days!

It was very good and lovely to spend my time and have my dinner here. Good customer service in a good environment condition and their food with drinks is a reasonable price.

An absolute gem! Our delivery food was excellent as was the young man who took the order, very polite! Visiting family in Walderslade and fancied Indian cuisine, The Sultan did not disappoint and we will definitely order again in the future 😍

We had an afternoon tea for a Baby Shower - The staff, the service, the atmosphere we just cannot fault. What stood out was the attention given to the mum to be which had dietary requirements, very attentive, very accommodating and great options of afternoon tea for everyone! Original review below from 2017, sadly as of Nov 2023 now seems to be closed. Facebook showed closure as of July but hours not updated. Wasn't open on a Saturday afternoon/evening when we visited. Fantastic hospitality, great beers. need to come back to try the food!
