Savill Gardens is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of Windsor Great Park, offering a beautiful and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The gardens are simply stunning, and it’s easy to spend a whole day exploring. Highlights: • Gorgeous Gardens: The gardens are beautifully laid out, with a diverse range of plants and flowers. The Rhododendron Valley is especially breathtaking in spring when the rhododendrons are in full bloom. Every corner of the garden is a picture-perfect scene, making it a fantastic place to wander and take in the scenery. • Relaxing Atmosphere: Unlike the busier Kew Gardens or RHS Gardens, Savill Gardens offers a more peaceful and quieter environment, allowing you to enjoy nature in a more serene setting. • Lovely Shop and Restaurant: There’s a charming shop selling a variety of gardening products, books, and unique gifts. The restaurant offers delicious meals with stunning views of the gardens, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. • Unexpected Surprises: While wandering the gardens, you might even catch a polo match nearby, adding an extra touch of excitement to your visit. • Perfect for a Full Day: Whether you’re interested in the stunning plants, the peaceful atmosphere, or the lovely dining options, there’s plenty to enjoy at Savill Gardens. It’s a great place to visit for all ages and interests. Overall: Savill Gardens is one of the most beautiful and peaceful gardens you can visit in London. With its gorgeous landscapes, delightful shop, and lovely restaurant, it offers an experience that’s just as enjoyable as Kew Gardens, but with fewer crowds and even more charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic day out!

Such a gorgeous venue for afternoon tea. The staff were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I wouldn’t say the food is amazing. It’s fairly basic for an afternoon tea. I was extremely surprised to see shop bought jam and the scones were stodgy. The cakes looked good but didn’t taste great and the vegetarian sandwiches unimaginative. However, we were offered as much tea as we wanted and a free glass of champagne. We would definitely recommend it for the atmosphere and reasonable cost and will return in the future.

A lovely place with friendly staff and great service. We booked for afternoon tea but there was a bit of a mix up with our order due to changes for the Christmas menu. The manager was very good and rectified the issue. The sandwiches were lovely but the cakes were sickly sweet.
