The best restaurants in Felbridge Tandridge South East

Had a takeaway from the Gurkha restaurant and it was amazing as usual, service was above and beyond, our driver called to say he was running 10 minutes late more like 5 minutes when he arrived and handed us a bottle of beer on the house due to the delay. Top class food and service all round.

We chose the wire mill for our family Christmas dinner and really wish we hadn’t. The food was cold, potatoes were chewy, desert was burnt and not edible. Staff were lovely and lovely location but we won’t be eating here again. Not for £95 per head for Christmas dinner.

YOU MUST HAVE THE PIE!! It ranks top out of our very prestigious pie ranking award. Albeit just me, my fiancé and uncle (in law) are the ones who decide on said award criteria. It is beautiful and richly flavoured. I eat it but twice a year as I am not local but what a treat to save my calories for. The steak is tender, the pastry soft and the lid delicately flakey. Tonight we were served by Emily, who went above and beyond her role as waitress and made us feel very welcome and special. The caramel sundae is the perfect pudding to complete the decadent feast. If you do not come here, you have not lived. Do not overlook this restaurant as just a ‘premier inn restaurant’… it is the creme de La creme of eateries. Stay for breakfast and another buffet awaits, pancakes for breakfast! My inner child rejoices. Such a variety and an exciting treat! Goodbye diet, hello treats. Cake for breakfast is one of the little joys we get at hotel stays… and this place does it well. Thank you to all the staff, especially Emily, for making our visit as memorable as ever. We have come hear annually for a few years now, predating the pandemic, and my late dad loved visiting here too (he died of covid in his 50’s). Family memories have been made here and the ambiance always holds a dear comfort to myself and my family. We love you star inn, thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕 ♥️ 💕

Older hotel but clean and comfortable as expected.

Dated hotel with good amenities perfect for travel. Hotel has a bar, pub, conseevayory, restaurant, brasserie, and lovely gardens. Rooms past their best, but generally well kept and were clean. Staff were helpful, good breakfast selection. They charge for parking which I think is outrageous but when I raised it they didn't make me pay. Overall a nice option for a pre/post gatwick stay.

It’s just not my kind of place The shop has lots of nice things but the prices are utterly ridiculous. The Christmas decorations are extortionate. It does have an excellent selections so good for Christmas shopping if the budget isn’t too important Food court/restaurant had an excellent selection. The Christmas lunch was a huge portion but unfortunately stone cold. I’ve put average , as it isn’t bad, it’s just there are much better value places to go

A professional and very friendly service with excellent food. The overall atmosphere was most enjoyable. Will go there again.
