The best restaurants in Margate Central Thanet South East

I've been a few times over the years since it opened. The food is amazing and the portions are huge—unlike most restaurants like this; you get a lot for your money. The atmosphere is okay; it would be good to have some live music performed there, as it still has lots of potential. I've never had a problem parking there because it's free after 6 p.m. The staff are always happy and helpful. I can't wait to go back and eat like a king. See you soon

Moved to Margate this weekend from London and came here for first night pizza. The girl who served me was so welcoming and chatty. She was awesome! The pizza was super clean and fresh and hardly any grease in the box by the time we had driven it home and eaten it. It was also MASSIVE. Definitely coming back and would highly recommend. Went to this restaurant for a pizza (firstly banging, so yummy) and the chef gave us a sample of his chicken tikka…delicious, I went home that night and woke up in the morning craving it again so went back for more. VERY impressed, I had the Dahl and chicken tikka masala, great value for money, chef was lovely and gave me a glass of his mango yogurt drink. I am very upset I don’t live locally, LOVE LOVE LOVE

Lovely friendly service but not great selection of drinks. Nice outdoor seating area. Clientele seemed to be of the 50+ demographic which is fine but perhaps if you are a younger group then I would not say this would be the place to meet contemporaries.

Best scampi and chips I have had in a while. The chips were crispy but not greasy. They are served in a card box that means any grease that would be there is soaked up. Scampi was really nice and well cooked. Nicely salted with just enough vinegar. I had a small portion of chips that was more than adequate. There are some parking spaces nearby to pop in and get your chips and plenty of good spots to drive and look out to sea while eating them.

Delicious! The menu had so much choice, I wanted to try everything. Started with the calamari which was cooked to perfection and wonderfully spiced. The fish stew was a bowl of heavenly flavours, perfectly cooked fish and shellfish with the potatoes soaking up the flavour of sauce. Plates scraped clean! Service was friendly, helpful and just right, such a charming waiter. Fabulous. Cannot wait to go back. Go and let your taste buds be tickled!!

It could be absolutely packed on a Saturday night but the DJ absolutely poor tonight. Need to play to the crowd and link to whoever has just played at dreamland, but this DJ made everyone leave! Honestly what a a load of rubbish.

Great location. Authentic, very friendly people. We had an excellent meal at the Greek restaurant. Afterwards we drank a delicious coffee and bought bread and pastries from the bakery. The small shops invite you to look and shop. All other stores will definitely be tested on our next visit.
