Played here with Bus Pass. Great quirky venue for live music. Great crowd really enjoyed it. Bar staff friendly and helpful and a nice pint.

Stunning place, very cosy with great food and coffee. Eaten here a number of times now and always been impressed with the quality of the food, serving size and price. Great for dog owners also.

We moved into the area about 2 months ago and have used Rogers takeaway a few times, best Chinese I've tasted 😋

Stopped in at this pub after a coastal walk - it was good atmosphere, very cosy and chilled, open fire, interesting history detailed on their website. Recommend the food it was quick, fresh and tasty, freindly and helpful management, dog friendly, parking available

Have got too say the waiting staff were as miserable as sin, didn't even get a thank you when I paid the bill. The food was only average, not nice enough to tempt me back. Eat elsewhere too avoid being disappointed

Amazing food. Absolutely lovely service and very kind staff. Well decorated and changes the atmosphere seasonally for different holidays. Has a wonderful Christmas menu and a pleasing menu all year round. Would recommend to anyone going as a family for a birthday, or any other occasion.

Lovely, tasty food and great service! Often eat in/takeaway and it’s great that I can take my dog in now, so I can combine my visits with a dog walk!

Basic little cafe serving teas, coffee, cakes, sandwiches etc. Situated in the car park of a stunning stretch of the Heritage Coast. A beautiful place to stop for a cuppa. However I found the man who served me to be very brusque and bordering on unfriendly. Its a shame because a smile costs nothing and makes for a much nicer experience.

I cannot believe the negative reviews for the Sunday Lunch. The veg / roasties / meat / Yorkshires and especially the gravy are all superb. I am fortunate to have been married to a wonderful cook for over 50 years, and the Boverton Castle compares very, very favourably for a Sunday Lunch. And I don't have to wash up. Bonus. We tend to have the smaller portion size dinner as the normal one is too much as we've got older.

I come here every week or so to get my needed chippy 😂 The service could be way better. I usually order on the app and get it to pick up, however, when I get there as the app says it’s ready to pick up, after 10-20 minutes of waiting and the food is still never ready. They are usually just standing there not doing much as you can clearly see the food is ready in the food warmers and plenty of chips to be serving people, but for some reason they make you wait another 10-20 minutes when you get there even though they say it will only be a maximum of 5. Apart from this the food is delicious and they give you decent sized servings for the price. Only thing that needs to be improved is the customer service.
