The best restaurants in West Malling and Leybourne Tonbridge and Malling South East

Done a few nights in here. Good location as its so close to the motorway. Has shops not to far away that you can get most items from. The restaurant has changed now so it only serves customers of the hotel now so you dojt have to mix with the riff raff off the street 😂😂 Good size car park and good lighting. All in all it's a place to sleep and it gives you that so can't really say much else. Oh yeah the prices have SHOT up in recent years but that's the same across everything so what can you do.

Very decent cuzza. Food and service both very good albeit the decor is nothing to shout about. Parking can be a bit tricky at busy times.

The cocktails was amazing by Stefan, very good customer services can’t praise him enough.

We came here for the opening after it had been refurbished. It has been changed in to a cocktail and tapas bar. The staff were super friendly, and the food and cocktails were superb, and the new decor looks fantastic! A really great place to go with family and friends, and just what west malling needed!

Had our first ever Christmas dinner here. Couldn't fault it, the food was hot, fresh and plenty of it. Staff were lovely as they are whenever we visit

Greatest "local" pub for miles around. Really good atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of lagers and loads of guest ales. Great place for a Sunday roast and really good live bands every few weeks.

Great Thai food. Highly recommend it. Taste like you are in Thailand.

Stopped off following a walk / run around the local country park. Granddaughter opting for her favourite babyccino & cookie whilst myself standard Americano. Staff very pleasant & venue very clean though it was 9:30 on a Sunday morning!

Sunday lunch disappointing. £19-£21 is towards the higher end of Sunday lunch prices & for that you'd be expecting near perfection. This target was comfortably missed with a plate that contained rock hard roast potatoes matched by a rock hard Yorkshire pudding. I'm assuming that the smear of gravy provided was to entice a request for some more, which would cost an additional £2

An absolutely outstanding pub! While it can get busy at times, the exceptional service from the superb managers and amazing staff truly stands out. The food is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. This place is a gem, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Went onto Google to look for a brewers fayre. Castle lake came up so we went. Bearing in mind you have all the big signs on the road welcoming all. We went to go in only to find members of public are not so welcome as access to restaurant is for premier Inn customers only. Maybe you should take the sign of the road and replace it with Premier Inn sign only. Very disappointing.

I need to do this quickly before it becomes irrelevant. I've seen other reviews criticising the condition of this restaurant recently. Those reviewers probably weren't aware that the owners (Whitbread) are closing it in two weeks! Consequently, my review isn't so much about the building or the food as it it about the staff. I was there on business which meant dinner on arrival day and breakfast on departure day. Because it's closing soon, choice was limited so that's not really open for discussion. In reality, I had the same dinner meal I'd had at a London branch a couple of days earlier. This was SO much better!! It really was - and I properly enjoyed it. Nothing to fault in any way. What struck me though was the attitude of the staff - all of whom will be out of work in two weeks - they were amazing!! I can't get over the manner, the attitude, the buoyancy and the general ambience around them. Amazing under the circumstances and it wasn't limited to one or a select few - it was something shared across the entire team. Beyond that, the morning crew were very much the same (though different people). I can't comment on the decision to close - that's a commercial decision for the owners - but if you operate a hospitality business anywhere nearby, slip in for a meal and if you agree with what I found, hire some of these people. You're unlikely to regret it! There's little point in saying more because as I've said, in two weeks' time, it's all over but if this goes anyway to helping any of that amazing team of people move on, it will have been worth my writing!!

Only went in as Roses was full and honestly was served the worst coffees ever. The milk looked like an over frothed ice cream and tasted awful. Costa why are you not bothered that this store isn’t managed properly? It’s dirty and service not great!

Fantastic pub, friendly staff, warm atmosphere, definitely come back again. Landlord was helpful from start to finish.

We was probably the first to order at around 17:30 the day we visited this terrible restaurant for our evening take away, the food should have been hot and fresh, it was disgusting!!!! We knew there was a very good reason we stop going here months & months ago but we thought we would try it again, NOTHING had changed, absolutely crap, the chicken balls were nearly un-edible , the chips were dry and the special chow mein was vile, please don’t waste your money.
