What a great pub. June is a superb host - very efficient and serves the best food. The staff and regulars are all very friendly and the place is spotless. Highly recommended.

Delightful, traditional pub which a few of us visited on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly landlords and locals made us very welcome and the roast potatoes were about the best i've ever had. Drink and food prices are very reasonable, particularly for this area. The live acoustic performer was excellent and I would highly recommend a visit.

Came from London to visit Surrey and we decided to get takeaway from this place. The owner was so friendly, kept the conversation flowing, gave us recommendations on where to visit. The kebab was 10/10 absolutely delicious. I’m glad I have left overs that I heat up and it still tastes so fresh. I want to go back just for this kebab

Had a good meal in the restaurant before Christmas, nothing really original or different but decent standard of standard/predictable dishes. Room is quite flat, no atmosphere. More recently tried to spend £120 on a takeout order but they decide whether they’re offering a takeaway service according to how busy the rstnt is… so can’t rely on it.

A simple takeaway joint. For £15, I would have expected larger portions. Both the sweet and sour HK style chicken and the overly expensive steamed rice were fresh but, again, small portions. The hot sour soup WAS not the correct recipe and very very bland, watery, clear and with too many chilis.

This pub has everything. A great range of ales and beers, extensive bar food menu and friendly and professional staff. The chilli nachos were perfect. It’s all set in a historic pub with real fires etc. Just perfect. Feel envious of folk who have this place as their local…
