Good value and quality. Sunday lunchtime at 12.00 was a good time to visit.

The manager, Dan is comedic, energetic and intelligent - makes for a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and will come again :)!

There were 6 of us and all elderly and very cold. The log fire not lit and radiator next to us cold. We had warm clothes on. Disappointed but food ok.

Lovely visit this week for refreshments. Tempted by fruit scones. Have to say they were the best scones I have had for a very long time - I remarked they were equal to the scones I had at the Ritz!! Lovely cafe and garden - well worth a visit!

Got 1 hour late freezing cold taste vile I had to give to the dog as what not suitable for a human waste of the wait money bloody fuming

Well I say dinner I put my order in at 5 and it’s still not arrived it’s gone 7 , £3.50 delivery charge and £1.90 admin which is sneakily taken out after you pay , called them and they used every excuse about traffic then proceeded to say they hadn’t even got to my order . Guaranteed it will be here in 30 mins , it’s now 40 mins they take the mick I will not be accepting the order if it actually ever turns up nor will I ever order from them again . They only take cash on delivery which is also really annoying !!!

When the next day, you’re still talking about how bad the service was, and watch every table you arrived before get served, eat, and leave. Literally lunch was over before we got served our lunch. Service was friendly on arrival, but that’s when it ended too. No one wanted the warm-ish food when it finally arrived. We didn’t leave a tip, and that’s super rare to annoy us that much.

Overall the food is good. However the delivery was 35 mins late & subsequently not all food was warm still. Will not be using again.

We had cod and chips on a weeknight. Ordered in their website for collection. They charged extra for ordering directly on their website compared to In the shop. Waited ages. The chips were pale and unappetising. The fish was disgusting. The batter has a strange flexible texture, not crispy. It had soaked up a serious amount of oil. It was orangey colour. Don't risk going. Head to one of the fish and chip shops on Uckfield high street.

*Do not use* I ordered a delivery from their website. The order was rejected, I phoned to check why and to request a refund. I was passed to a so called manager. He was very aggressive about the refund. After a heated discussion he shouted down the phone “ You Fuc*ing Bastard” and slammed the phone down. This place and this manager are an utter disgrace. I hope you get boycotted by the Heathfield residents and go bust!

Just had Donna meat and chips from this place dry rock hard bits of meat and undercooked chips worse food I've ever had in eastbourne this place deserves no stars kids burgers burnt and dry waste of money least the bin has had a good meal don't waste your time or money with these
