Pat was extremely friendly and helpful, prompted me to download the Greggs app which I wasn’t aware of and their demeanour improved my day :)

Please please tell your team not to cough openly as they walk through the seating areas. I’ve noticed two of your ladies do this now. You all are lovely friendly people and doing a great job but being let down by personal hygiene.

Work Christmas evening meal. Very warm welcome and great staff. Traditional pub food, scampi, ham egg & chips, lamb, guineafowl, cottage pie. Veggie option of mushroom, leek & lentil cottage pie was very tasty. Came with carrots and brocoli on the side which were disappointing. Carrots scraped, brocoli yellowing and on the turn so didn't eat. Honey Hill is a very quiet, dark country road and the pub is about half way down. It has a large carpark. It's in a residential area not near anything else.

Arrived early for my friends gig. Delicious burger, juicy with a caramelised edge. Plenty of fresh salad in the bun and great fries.

Had a desire for spare ribs for a birthday lunch and so googled "best ribs near me" and the Shinfield Arms was top of the list. A reservation was made and a confirmation email was received which was appreciated. We arrived and were shown to our where the menus were perused. Our drinks orders were taken as well as selections from the bountiful menu (a full offering of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes is also available from the menu) from staff members Sam and Darren whilst the day's specials were explained to us by the pleasant maître' d' , Victor. Garlic pizza bread with garlic and herb dip was a great start to the main course and was full of flavour. Mains followed shortly afterwards and the ribs lived up to their reputation! They were tender, tasty with oodles of barbecue sauce - absolutely divine! Slightly larger portions of chips and coleslaw would have been nice as they did not last partircularly long. Other items ordered were the pan-fried calves liver and bacon, the bacon double cheese burger, a prawn cocktail and chicken goujons and chips for the youngest diner which are all applauded. Dessert was graciously declined but a number of tasty dishes were available. Our glasses were kept charged during the entire meal by the attentive staff. A thoroughly enjoyable outing to the Shinfield Arms was had by all and kudos to Darren and Sam for their splendid service. A return visit will definitely be on the cards!

We had such a lovely dinner tonight, the linguini was so delicious, and Georgia our server was a delight. She helped us decide on our wines, the Portuguese Red was a great recommendation. The food was great and service was amazing, always attentive. We will definitely be returning! Thank you.

Business Lunch, went for sandwich menu, top quality and service, great quick bite spot. main menu looks great, will be back to try the smoker menu!

Éramos un grupo de 12 amigos y socios de netball a largo plazo. Tuvimos el almuerzo más suculento, mejor aún, con muy buen servicio de mesa y asistencia. ¡Muy recomendable!

Beautiful pub on edge of Wokingham and nicely decorated inside with lovely clean toilets and disabled loo. Friendly efficient staff and food was excellent . Definitely be returning again. Big outdoor area with heat lamps

We booked our Christmas Do here for over 30 people and we had a fabulous time. Great choice of food, lovely festive feel and great service. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The food was delicious and came out hot and all together. The Sedero team worked hard to keep it all moving smoothly and we cannot thank them enough for a really great night. Will definitely be booking again.

We booked the White Horse for a funeral wake for about 50 people. Cheryl and her colleagues were very friendly and accommodating, and the kitchen prepared an excellent buffet including sandwiches, mini-pies, chicken goujons, and loads of chips. Many of the funeral guests mentioned how good the food was and how lovely the staff were. We would definitely recommend it as a venue for such occasions.

Tuve una gran cena al final de la tarde y un par de copas con mi esposa y mi perro! Todos nos hicieron muy bienvenidos (incluido mi perro). El I.P.A. era bueno (nunca lo había tenido antes) y la comida era excelente. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Muy gratamente sorprendido. ¡Mejora enorme desde la última vez que fui al cazador furtivo hace años!

Great whisky tasting evening at the Leafy Elephant. Ollie was a brilliant and very knowledgeable host. The nest is a very unique and chilled area to retreat and enjoy the excellent choice of whisky and rum. Can't wait to come back.

Brilliant fish and chips! The quality of both the fish and the batter is great. One of the best in the area, from my experience! Chips are good too…
