The best restaurants in Castle Worthing South East

Can only leave a one star as it clearly stated on google that this shop was open and it wasn’t. Very poor to not update opening hours over the holiday period!! Some very hungry and disappointed children.

Sunday lunch - good meal for 3. Unfortunately the crispy beef salad was presented without toasted cashew nuts, as described. This is the 2nd occasion this happened. We were then presented with a small bowl of "untoasted" cashews. Disappointing. Also, as before, on several previous occasions, drinks ordered at the table took an unacceptable delay, it is quicker by far to order and collect ones own drinks. Sadly these two small points detract greatly from the dining experience. These could and should (as advised on our last visit) be easily resolved.

chips were soggy mint aero milkshake just tasted of toothpaste from the syrup used the burger was dry and hard around the edges chips were just thrown in the bag not packaged well no care went into the order and the amount that was spent it was very disappointing

Superb gardens, nice little playground for the kids and if the train is running on a Sunday it really adds to the pull.

Went on a Friday as it opened, fish okay but chips very dry as if they were reheated from lunchtime First time since lockdown so very disappointed but will give them a second chance sometime

We are a local young family and we’re treat very well by the nice man working there. Very happy and great price especially for round here. We will be regular guests now my son is aware it’s there. Defo worth a visit

A very relaxed friendly atmosphere and very pleasant staff I would recommend the food to everyone who loves Indian cuisine

We booked a table for 12, we had 4 festive menus and the rest were off the main menu, we were worried that our meals would come out at different times as the festive meals were pre ordered, but everything came out together and all food was lovely

We stumbled across this pub after a bracing walk on the nearby Wiston Estate. Our greeting was friendly, helpful and welcoming, we both selected the salt beef hash from the menu and it was utterly delicious. If the rest of the menu is as good as this dish, you will be assured of a great meal. The decor is a rather dated but don’t be put off - the fabulous service and food more than makes up for it.

Just visited this place again, thought I would give them another chance. Food was OK but had a very unpleasant conversation with the guy behind the counter. Won't be going back again EVER. No apology for the poor quality food I received last time. Stay clear.

5* doner meal cooked by a nice lady

Visit regularly and would usually give 5 stars buy visited today New Year's Day, guy that served me was very blunt and unfriendly. Half way through our drinks he asked if we had finished as wanted to clear cups away. I carried on but he kept lingering around waiting for us to finish. I questioned if they were closing as he was in a rush to clear our table and was told they didn't close until 6, which was 4 hours away. Won't be returning here plenty of other coffee shops that make you feel like your custom is appreciated

Fantastic meal was had by all. The staff couldn't be more accomadating with different dietary requirements, great veggie options that tasted great 👍

Slow service, average food, decor is awful, really tired looking and filled with cheap Christmas tacky decorations. Most of the deserts were off the menu. Asked 3 times for some water, gave up in the end. Avoid !
