The best restaurants in Central Bournemouth South West

Nice fish and chips, definitely worth visiting. Thanks to Carlos for the excellent service.

Mi madre y yo fuimos a almorzar al café del baile el fin de semana pasado. Nos sentamos afuera bajo el sol, tuve el panini de atún con papas fritas y mamá tomó el desayuno con un jugo de naranja fresco de tamaño razonable. Ambos eran muy sabrosos y a un precio razonable. El personal era amable, eficiente y servicial.

Me and my friends came for a meal here and we were greeted and seated quickly, our food was impeccable as always and I wanted to say how lovely the service was from Nidia, we absolutely loved her and want her to know how amazing she is! Thank you Nidia & everyone at Wagamama Bournemouth for a wonderful experience 🫶🏼

We travel 140 miles each year to stay in bournemouth, 40% for hotels and 60% for Days. Food and service is always exceptional as is value for money. Miss the trips as its been closed. PLEASE RE-OPEN SOON

Really uncomfortable atmosphere due to the grey haired manager slumped over the bar looking miserable throughout, who then proceeded to follow me to the toilet and try and watch me while I use the facilities.

Took 50 minutes to get half the order of chicken strips, chips and halloumi fries, then had to chase the halloumi fries, ok food but terrible service not much attempt at apology for the stupidly long wait, wasnt even busy. Will not go again

We visited as a group of 7 for a birthday celebration, as were arrived early for lunch we were quickly shown to our table and drinks orders taken. Part of the group arrived a bit later and by this time the restaurant was getting busy - The lady was trying her best, but they were woefully understaffed for a Saturday lunchtime.Drinks were particularly slow arriving, but the food wasn't exactly speedy either.The starters were very nice (I can recommend the Chorizo & Sweet Potato Croquettes, the Banana Blossom Croquettes were nice, but probably not worth the cost (£7) and I wouldn't go for them again).After such good starters the mains were a bit disappointing - I went for the BBQ chicken melt. It was nice, but it wasn't amazing. There are a LOT of possible combinations of food so anyone could find a meal to suit their preferences.I would visit again, but I hope the short staffing was a one-off situation during our visit and not a normal occurrence.

Friendly staff but poor overpriced food , small portions.. £11 for a small burger and a small cup of chips and they seemed to try and make you get a move on and leave so they can get the table ready for the next customers .

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide. It is a great example of world cuisine. Despite its name it is not a buffet. The service by kawalpreet is great and the food very yummy ambience was good and fancy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy and authentic meal. We were there for dinner but food look amazing and hot .There was a long line of folks waiting to get in. Another high mark for them.

Pret has always been the go to for a coffee after a long train journey to Waterloo but sadly the whole place is now looking grubby. I also visited their cafe opposite Cannon St station and had the worst cup of tea ever. Come on Pret invest some money in your cafe’s and clean them up!

Booked an early table at 6:45pm as had children in the group. Ordered food within a few minutes of arrival but unfortunately took until 8:40pm before we all had our main courses which arrived a few at a time.

Absolutely one of the best brownies I have ever had! Amazing little cafe for a train station too. They've also done aaaaamazing sausage rolls here before too!

Incredible restaurant. The quality of food was unbelievably good; great presentation and tasted amazing. The general atmosphere of the restaurant was very calm and the service could not be faulted. Would highly recommend.
