Brilliant lunch , love coming in here when i visit honiton . My FiancĂ© had never visited before didnât even know there was a coffee shop at the back of the gift shop. he loved it , so we will definatly be returning. I had soup and my finance had a small breakfast , and then a doughnut each for dessert , such a lovely selection of things to have . Very busy little cafe . staff very friendly and helpful , service super quick too considering how busy they were .

We would TOTALLY agree with the One review. A gem of a find. It has been a very long time since we have enjoyed such finger-licking (yes, we had the tiger prawns; exceptional, as were the samosas!) unpretentious, tasty, expertly prepared, top quality food, for a very reasonable price. All freshly prepared, as we waited. Met with a warm welcome, with an abundance of enthusiasm to check we were enjoying our flavoursome Portuguese fayre. Our taste buds had a full workout! Our hosts are rightfully proud of their mamaâs culinary skills and the evident love and care she lavishes on her creations. The menu is simple, but powerful. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you for making my husbandâs birthday lunch an absolute delight. Obrigado! Tina & family

I've been coming here for about 10 years only ocationally but it never disappoints the cake especially the carrot cake with cream frosting is the most delicious cake seriously every mouthful is a literal pleasure the place it's self is so cosy with log burner and comfy sofa the people are so friendly and welcoming. I also recommend there restaurant in Honiton the yellow deli again here high quality and great service. Thank you from Rebekah, Michael and Fred

Great lunchtime visit today. Excellent value, warm, welcoming atmosphere, good food and good coffee. 2 children (4+6) were happy to play on the equipment whilst their grownups chatted and sad to leave at the end of our slot.

Lovely little cafe with a handful of tables dotted amongst the gifts. My wife and I both had the seafood salad for lunch which wonderful - packed with high quality crab, prawns and smoked salmon. Alas too full to eat the wonderful looking cakes. I suspect people visiting on the off-chance may do well to find a table as I suspect this may become a well-kept secret amongst locals.

The best we have ever tasted, so much choice too, we highly recommend. It was so good we went back the following night. The service was excellent too

Always such a lovely experience at BTP Honiton. Every member of staff is friendly and helpful. The coffee is my favourite of any on the high street and the food is always spot on. It's one of those places that makes you think, 'why can't every cafe be this good?'.

We stopped overnight on our way to Cornwall. It was all youâd expect from a country inn -beams in the ceiling -wide selection of beers - warm log fire Etc. What makes this inn special though are the staff. They are brilliant from the moment you set foot inside, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We decided to start our celebrations early and ordered the Christmas Dinner. Not only was it a reasonable price, the chief managed to retain traditional elements with some additions . Well done them. Breakfast was superb and set us up nicely for the remainder of our journey. We intend to book, for similar time next year

Stopped here for a bite while shopping in Honiton. We were recommended the Yellow Deli by locals and it did not disappoint. Another huge positive is that no dogs allowed inside so hygiene and the consideration of diners is important to the owners. Well done Yellow Deli, I'll be back.

What a wonderful find! You could walk down the High Street and miss this special retreat as itâs accessible via a narrow alleyway from the main road pavement. Keep an eye out for, "The Vine Tea Rooms" sign above the alley entrance. Just 50 feet in and youâll find yourself in a beautifully kept secluded garden away from the noise and busy market place. A real sun trap in summer and a great place to sit outside and enjoy a cream tea and a slice of cake. Equally you could be sipping an artisan gin or one of the local ales available from the well appointed bar. On entering the premises youâll be welcomed by one of the friendly and very helpful staff showing you to your table in either the tea room or the restaurant / bar area where there is a classic Devon menu to peruse. The local speciality of the day board is displayed above the fireplace and includes delicious starters, mains and deserts which will keep you coming back for more! Equally on a winters or rainy day itâs the perfect place to find a cosy table by the roaring open fire and have that delectable "winter warmer"! A real gem that will make you look forward to your return!
