The best restaurants in St Loyes Exeter South West

Very busy, and toilet facilities very limited for number of visitors Restaurant selection varied as you'd expect. The prices were as most motorway services are, high!

Don't bother. Tiny portions and ridiculously expensive. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Waited in the queue to order for 15 minutes , then 40 minutes to get our food ! With a 2 year old and a 4 year old this is really poor! There were only about 10 people in the whole restaurant ! The food was mostly ok but daughter’s jacket potato not hot ! Will not risk it again and have had to wait a long time in previous visits but this has finished us for trying again !!! And they had no drinks left for the children’s meals and there was some cheese in the children’s beans and they are allergic to dairy !!!!!

Dumbest baristas ever. Costa needs to change their staff at Exeter services. Dumb people couldn't even get my order right!

The order did not arrive, the money was transferred from the application and there was no delivery. I advise against it. I called and the only information was that Dominos ended the call.

Absolutely awful meal, the chicken was overdone and very dry. I had all of 9 chips which was spicy (which I didn’t ask for) tried to ring them and didn’t even answer the phone. Definitely would not recommend

Came here and stood in queue. 4 staff working yet only 1 serving and the others ignored the queues. Don't think I will be back to this branch

A member of my family had 4 piece meal in December on his way to Christmas holidays and within few hours was violently sick and diarrhoea and spent next 24 hours in bed. He felt the cleanliness of the KFC was below average- tables dirty.. I am concerned of the level of hygiene and quality and freshness of the chicken so wanted to make you aware to review your hygiene and quality processes. He would not recommend visiting this branch.

The Cornish pasty had plenty of meat in and potato & swede but was overseasonned with pepper it burnt my mouth and also gave me chronic indigestion. To be fair my wife had the lamb & mint which she enjoyed.

At all costs avoid the “American croissant” which looks great in the picture but is so dried up and dull I had to change it. The fruit scone was a bit lifeless too, but staff were helpful.

Ordered a box meal for a family of 4. Firstly, the order took 30 minutes to arrive at our table and they missed half of the items in the box!! The queue was out the door, the drive through was packed and the place was disgusting with rubbish and drink spilled all over the floor and tables. Then ordered a milkshake and cookie which took 40 minutes to arrive!!! Absolutely diabolical, this needs to be fixed!!!

Worst cup of Costa coffee ever. I ordered cappuccino but when drinking it I realised it was over half froth and hardly any actual coffee, my husband didn't drink his Americano at all as it was so bitter. We used to go to all our local (Devon) Costas quite a bit, but hardly ever go now as they are all going downhill. Tables were filthy too (as they are in all the Costas). Also, coffee served in paper cups even if you are drinking in, instead of them making the effort to do the washing up.
