I began with the Creamy Garlic Mushrooms, served alongside perfectly toasted sourdough bread. The rich, velvety sauce, infused with just the right amount of garlic, paired beautifully with the warm, crusty bread. It was a comforting yet refined start to the meal, setting high expectations for what was to come. For the main course, I chose the Creedy Carver Confit Duck Leg, served with a redcurrant and star anise jus, accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes and red cabbage. The duck was exquisitely tender, with its savory richness complemented by the subtle sweetness and aromatic warmth of the jus. The dauphinoise potatoes were indulgent, creamy, and flawlessly seasoned, while the red cabbage added a vibrant, tangy contrast that tied the dish together. Dessert was a showstopper: Raspberry Cheesecake. The balance of tart raspberries against the creamy, luscious cheesecake was a triumph. It was neither too sweet nor too heavy, leaving the perfect lingering note to end the meal. Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Frou Frou is enchanting. This is a lovely place to go, the food is good and the staff are friendly, BUT I feel that I will not go again until something is done to make the entrance more accessible, it is impossible for me to open the door, it never used to be like it, such a shame that it isn’t made a priority to fix it.

This lovely cafe is on one of Tiverton’s bustling shopping streets and a few moments walk from car parks. Indoor and outdoor seating, great coffee, good wifi, good vegan options on the menu. Cash is accepted as it should be everywhere.

Lovely peaceful spot, canal barge tea rooms friendly lad served us in period canal costume. In fact all the staff were dressed in person canal costume which added to the wonderful atmosphere.

Good coffee/teacake reasonable prices.friendly owners doing it all. Go there!! Support local owner traders. Clean cafe just off main high street,close to river and bridge. .

Nice enough pub. The landlord is a bit grumpy. Cosy atmosphere with the log burner. They have different mobile take away's that park outside where you can buy your food and eat in the pub too.

You can always expect consistency when visiting wetherspoons, our visit to the White Ball was as we have become to expect with good service, hot food and good value Drinks.

The toasted sandwich was not toasted just soggy and the fat was coming out of the cheese. The coffee weak. Service slow person taking order then makes up order . apparently one has to wait at the counter for ones heated food but was not told until it was brought to our table and told we should have waited. With hindsight the cafe was less than half full on a Saturday morning which I should have read as a sign of bad food and service
