Best food around. The meat is bought from a local butcher so you know the burgers etc are fresh and proper meat not the frozen processed crap I am a fussy eater but wanted to try the food as it always smells amazing when passing. I had a Philly Steak burger and loaded fries. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Lovely place and absolutely the nicest and freshest scones I’ve ever had (and believe me I’ve had A LOT!!!!) We will definitely visit again the next time we’re in Ilfracombe.

Very tasty ice-cream, friendly service and great location. Seemed the more popular ice cream place nearby, which is q good sign. Not particularly cheap, but no where is nowadays. Definitely recommend

Amazing Christmas themed drinks.as described on the menu, friendly staff and amazing conversation. Couldn't have expected anything better. The cafe was beautifuly decorated with Christmas decorations, very on theme and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit!

Jaime opened the cafe so that we had somewhere to host a birthday party after a coasteering trip with Nick Thorne. The hot chocolates were just what a group of kids needed after being in the sea for 2 hours, and the pizzas and dough balls went down a storm. Jaime even made the birthday cake, which was spectacular! All the staff were great. Best party ever, thank you.

Best Latte ever, and a very pleasant atmosphere. I loved the colours, and the furnishings. Well recommended to anyone yet to discover it; and its friendliness obviously apppreciated by Locals!

New cafe in town so just had to try it, I wasn't disappointed, best breakfast I've had in a very long time. 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, mushrooms, tomatoe, fried bread, beans and toast plus coffee or tea for just £9.95! Top quality bacon and sausages and the coffee they serve free with breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly reccomended.

The Antidote is a cosy and intimate restaurant serving delicious food. Sarah is very welcoming and makes dining there a very special event. We had their French menu and the cooking was exemplary, a faultless gastronomic evening.

My wife & myself visited the Carlton hotel for this year's New Year's Eve Gala dinner. We both had a fantastic night, we arrived & we're greeted with a glass of prosecco each, then shown to our table which was all decorated with party hats & party poppers. The food was delicious & piping hot, which was very impressive as the amount of people they were cooking for. We both had the fillet of beef which was cooked perfectly & was very tender. All the staff were very attentive & made sure everyone was having a lovely evening. The disco was also very good not too loud & played the age appropriate music for the people who were there. The final touch was just after midnight the staff brought out hot bacon & sausage sandwiches. Overall we had a lovely night & world defiantly book again for New Year's Eve 2025 & we will also book Sunday lunch as the food was delicious 😋. Thanks to all the staff at the Carlton hotel 👌👍

One of the best carvery that I have have. Choice of 4 meats plus veggie nut roast option. Lots of choice on veggies. The price bracket included drinks Everything was very hot and would highly recommend.

Got 3 meal deals , one of which was vegetarian and all food was amazing!! Fresh bread was used , no skimping out on filling. Vegetarian food cooked separately and was lovely and hot. Staff were very friendly definitely will go back again
