We are non residents ,and frequently walk from Dawlish along the coast to the Langstone with dog.We like it because it's very relaxing ,lovely comfortable sitting rooms and the staff are pleasant and the food is good quality .

Amazing home cooked food, Worthing wait for, Brilliant service from John. Reasonably priced too, Visited twice during our stay in Dawlish. Will come back again next year 👍😁

Always dine here when visiting my mum. As always lovely bar staff very welcoming. Food was amazing, catered for my gluten free diet. Very reasonably priced. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend eating here. Chef very accommodating came and reassured me for my ceiloc diet. Thank you it means a lot .

Great relaxing atmosphere & somewhere for the kids to play.

I popped in for breakfast and found it a bit awkward. The signs were to the breakfast buffet which I assumed would be an all you can eat for a fixed fee. Instead you order at the bar then take your ticket to the buffet where the chef adds the items you have paid for. I’ve been spoiled by breakfast buffets and left disappointed. There were only a few of us in there around 9:15am

Reading some pervious reviews! Is it under new management??? The whole experience was awful only one of the staff was almost polite. Food was only fit for the bin and well over priced for the quality! Never again!!!!!

Checking times. Tonight. OCT 2023 Closed for refurbishment. I have to say it's the only Local Chinese Restaurant to sit in. The other two are Take Aways. I took a Take Away home. A Beef Curry (sauce a little hot)(not your normal curry sauce, in house made.) and Plain Boiled Rice. Also Fried Noodle (thin type) and Beef (not chow mein) (there are a bits of green pepper, mushrooms, in it) also asked for Bean Sprouts with added onion, (perfect) Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Sauce. (It had in it onions, cucumber, carrots and chucks of pineapple. Got to be made in house and fresh).

Visited today as a birthday treat. Food was exceptional, the mussels were amazing. Dog friendly and service was great, even though they were under staffed and surprisingly busy for a Friday lunchtime when most people had returned to work. Will definitely be back again

We always make a trip to Ryders when we’re visiting on holiday. Freshly baked produce including loads of tasty speciality items. Tasty coffee as well.

We have been coming to the Welcome site for 30+ and have never tried welcome bite and I can tell you now we wont use it again..2 Pizzas one double peperoni { double 8 small slices of peperoni} cheese was so greasy it couldn't be eaten , 2 chicken burgers and a child's fish finger meal + one portion of chips came to just over £45 . it took ages to prepare so was cold by the time be got back to the caravan. the staff never spoke, first and last time we will use this.

Great tasting coffee and real grown up Hot Chocolate. Delicious!! Menu looked inviting and will definitely try in the future. Staff friendly and welcoming! Lots of locals.....good sign to me!

Visited yesterday and ordered 4 drinks/cakes. The coffees were perfect and not too strong. Again, the cake was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

What a pleasant find, went to Dawlish on a whim between Christmas and New Year, lunch needed and went here, wasn't expecting much but really pleasantly surprised. The food was good and generous portions.

Went for the Cheeseburger this time, good value and very nice. will be back here next time we visit dawlish.
