We came for a breakfast after looking at reviews, we usually go to a well known cafe on Shaldon side but thought we would switch it up. Staff were friendly and nice coffee. However the small breakfast was VERY SMALL for £12 was about enough food for my toddler. I understand one of each which is what we ordered but a teaspoon of beans and 3 tiny button mushrooms? Could be a little more generous. No pepper on tables only salt? And everything was very oily. Better value for money elsewhere:

My partner and I had a half day in Teignmouth whilst staying at nearby Torquay. On arrival we visited this coffee shop and weren’t disappointed. Great coffee, a good choice of cakes and a lovely window seat. What more could we ask for before exploring the town.

I was so pleasedto find they supply the traditional bûche de Noël in Devon. Couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase as I was not expecting to find one. It looked pretty and tasted even more delicious. The meringue mushroom was great and the swirls on the end were made of delicious marzipan

Excellent evening with us sharing a meat and seafood platter for starters, which was just fantastic. . The steaks were cooked to order and melt in the mouth. The seafood risotto, which I asked for, Al dente...was perfect. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again Antonio (chef/owner) was very friendly and accommodating... lovely evening all around. 5*****

Have been visiting Teignmouth for over 40 years, living in East Devon. Never before been to Relish. So glad we did today. The ladies who were working this place were so friendly and helpful. Husband chose cheese and ham toastie. I scanned the menu. I hate when people are fussy for the sake of fussiness but having recently been diagnosed with gallstones and told to keep to a No Fat Diet I have no choice but to join them. Chose a ham salad sandwich, no mayo, no butter which can be pretty dull. However, with lovely chunky bread, fresh salad and some mustard to add, was delicious. It may have taken us 40 years to find Relish but it won't be too long before we are back. The various burgers they do definitely whetted my appetite for after my gallbladder surgery. Thank you ladies.

What the actual hell has just turned up at my door? We ordered the finish and chips with a description of cod and chips with a blistered lemon and homemade tartar sauce, sausage and chips, onion rings and doughnuts. It turns up as 2x frozen battered fish fillets from a supermarket. Tasted like utter rubbish. My daughter’s sausage was cheap, nasty and burnt. Doughnuts eww! Greasy and nasty! Tried to contact restaurant but went straight to voicemail. Complained via just eat for a refund. Absolutely disgusted. All they needed to do was contact me to state they have no fish and chips as funnily enough we checked the just eat menu after and the fish and chips had been removed. I’d avoid purely on the basis of integrity. People like that don’t deserve a penny from hardworking people in these difficult times. My order was £52 so I’d better get it back! I’ll never use this outlet again!

Very pleasant visit here, service was really great, cheese scone was amazing! And sat outside on the terrace in the sun, perfect!
