Wow just wow never experienced anything like this. The barmaid was so unprofessional speaking how customers did her head in and how she wanted them to leave cause they asked to much of her when they asked for mayo and ice in their drink My food was just left on bar for me to pick up not served to me. On half hour wait for my food to be cleared the barmaid was then rude as hell. Not a happy customer. She was too busy flirting and chatting a man to be concerned with her customers.

Lovely little pub with very warm and welcoming staff. Very cosy and dog friendly also.

A Memorable Stay at the Greenaway Hotel and Spa My partner and I recently enjoyed a three-night stay at the Greenaway Hotel and Spa, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Accommodation The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully furnished, with décor that perfectly complemented the charm of the historic building. The bed, pillows, and linens were of exceptional quality, ensuring we slept soundly each night. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as complimentary water, coffee, and real milk provided in the fridge. Dining Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide array of options to suit all tastes and dietary preferences. From creamy yoghurt paired with what seemed to be homemade granola to a perfectly executed full English breakfast, the quality was outstanding. One evening, we dined at the hotel's rosette-awarded restaurant. The meal was a culinary delight, with each dish beautifully prepared and bursting with flavour. However, we did find the portions a little on the smaller side for the price. Similarly, while the drink selection was excellent, we felt the prices were on the higher end, which added to the overall cost of the meal. Spa Facilities The spa was a wonderful bonus, providing a serene space to relax and unwind. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, with a good variety of amenities. We were provided with towels, dressing gowns, and slippers, adding a touch of luxury to our visit. Service The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel welcome and well-cared for. Location The only drawback was the location, as the hotel is situated on a busy road, which occasionally disrupted the otherwise tranquil atmosphere. Conclusion Despite the minor issues with portion sizes, drink prices, and location, our stay at the Greenaway Hotel and Spa was truly enjoyable. The excellent service, high-quality amenities, and charming ambience made it a memorable getaway. We would happily recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and indulgent retreat.

True fine dining in elegant surroundings. Delicous food, exquisitely presented. Mushroom starter to die for. Duck main course extremely good. Wish we didn't live so far away!

Went for a what we thought Sunday roast well not great firstly a skip parked in the disabled bay and a sign on the front saying enter through spa this should be posted on line and also told when booking we where the only dinners on a Sunday lunch we had the platter very Spanish which was a bit strange then the 12hr slow cooked beef tough and full of fat the best part where the vegetables all in all not great and they should update the website with menu this many years ago was a lovely place to have food afraid not any more
