Great new owners, NOTE telephone number on trip advisor is for the old owner so please don’t call it.. Shop is based conveniently in the car park with easy access. Serving hot and cold snacks drinks and must have beach essentials. Enjoy a stroll down to the town or a stroll to the beach, great location for exploring the local area.

Having found ourselves lucky enough to be back in Beaminster for a week, we knew our first stop had to be Dexters. We were welcomed back like old friends and as usual the food did not disappoint. So much so that we enjoyed 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 evening meals! Not sure I can pick a highlight but if forced it would have to be the fillet steak on our last night. Cooked to perfection and so flavoursome. If you are in the area and looking for somewhere to eat then I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Fab home cooked food at a very reasonable price with second to none service. Debbie, Paul, Kim and all the team - don’t stop what you are doing as you stand out in a very crowded market. We will be back and that’s a promise 😉 If for no other reason than we still need to try the very popular Sunday carvery.

Food was fantastic, freshly cooked and very tasty with fresh herbs. I had the roasted squash salad, my elderly parents had salmon & beetroot salads and my partner had the lamb burger..everyone was very happy. We also found room somehow to try the cakes which were also also great, lemon & blueberry and the orange & almond. Dog friendly too and tables were not crammed together so good if you're dog is a bit nervous like ours. Service was good too, friendly and attentive. Place was relatively quiet on a Monday, and a shame not more of the adjacent craft places are open / occupied.

We had spotted this small eatery on a previous visit and decided to try it on a Friday . A good main menu and very good value lunch time deal. We chose a sharing platter which was hot, super fresh and very tasty. A great place for a lunch and I expect it has a real buzz in the evenings.

There are very few places like this in Bournemouth it was so refreshing to go somewhere that was an experience rather than just a meal out. Delicious freshly prepared and cooked food. Lots of vegetarian options and lovely cocktails. This place suits any night out with partner, family or friends . Choose a main and some sides to share. Leave room for a home made desert the Churros were amazing. Booking is advised.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the garden at Hillside on Tuesday 27th August. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming and provided a selection of sandwiches, fruit scones and cream, and a selection of cakes. It was hard to choose what to have first, coffe and walnut cake, Victoria sandwich, red velvet or chocolate fudge cake. We chose to stick with the usual tea but could have had other teas or coffee. Thank you so much for providing the refreshments for Christine's retirement celebration! From Linda, Karen, Shalini and of course Christine x

Such a shame Found is closing - this is the best, accessibly priced, well thought out food you can get . Then add in that it’s locally sourced with amazing service, phenomenal chef, you can only say Dorchester doesn’t deserve such a fantastic restaurant. Get in while you can !! 10 Barons

This supper club is a great concept he (Sam) created a large kitchen in this industrial unit some years ago and uses to support his functions and wedding catering , what he has done now is convert the storage spaces around the kitchen into little quirky eating places (his old office is one of them) but the hub is the kitchen . He was always a great chef but his food is now at another level combining sticky ribs and Asian tastes on the same plate . The food comes well presented on wood boards and trust me starve yourself throughout the day the portions are massive. The whole vibe of the place is casual and very friendly. Go there you won’t be disappointed

Perfect date night spot. Had our meal on the picnic table under a peaceful tree. Delicious street food. Lovely hardworking owner. We’ll be back soon!
