The best restaurants in Weymouth East Weymouth and Portland South West

Glasses for drinks dirty and they came after food was finished. Didn’t inform us kids aren’t allowed after 2030 until 2020 and then had to Chase their desserts that were already paid for as part of the kids meal deal to be rush eaten in 5 minutes. Tried to order an adult desert to be told it was a 45 min wait in the kitchen. (Clearly don’t have separate staff for desserts) so had to have a refund as had to leave with the kids.

Went for the last night of the season for Halloween. Food buffet was awesome. There was a Halloween party, but didn’t stay for that which was a shame. Place is really good.

We had a shocker when asking if the fish and chips is Nut Free. They claim it is but they fry chocolate bars in the same fryer and not in a small pan. It is very Dangerous and it’s an accident waiting to happen. I’m surprised that they don’t understand allergies.

We booked into the Nothe Tavern for a pre-Christmas lunch with friends. Excellent food (turkey, beef, fish, vegetarian and other options) and very friendly, helpful service. Terrific view of the harbour and coastline and plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

Live music Sunday was great. Friendly pub good atmosphere. Can take own food in to eat. We enjoyed our visit and will go again.

Sweet little pub. Very nice service. Even offered us beer to try before we ordered.

What a miserable, rude lady. If you’re going to work in customer service learn to greet people in a friendly and respectful manner. The sea food was bang average too.

Great atmosphere, great friendly staff! A credit to Greene king! Will deffo return. Lovely time was had. I’m a local so this is my favourite pub throughout Weymouth.
