The best restaurants in Amesbury West Wiltshire South West

Called here for the second time en route to the West Country. Lovely all day breakfast - sausages etc for husband - smoked salmon, avocado , salad and two poached eggs on toast for me. Very good, very generous, great value. So much nicer than calling in to Solstice Park! Easy, cheap parking nearby.

Went in yesterday to be greeted so warmly and made to feel at home. I had a flat white coffee which was freshly made and really tasty. I also noted a beautiful smell which was essential oils and that got me asking more. I went out sniffing my arm then returned for another cup and to buy one or two oils. Unfortunately my husband came to pick me up from the car park and so I left without but took 2nd cup as a takeaway. I Don't suppose I will be passing any time soon . But if I did it would definitely be my coffee stop. I learned alot in a few minutes about these oils but I also felt so welcome and so relaxed during my visit. Thank you both such lovely people

Piazza is a great local Italian in Amesbury that my friends and family and I visit regularly. The food is always good and the service is always friendly. My personal favourite dish is the penne crema!

Only get takeaway. Food is always mega. Great service. Will sometime eat in as always looks good atmosphere

We celebrated our Grand Daughters 17th birthday…The service was average…We had to ask for a wine by the bottle menu which was in fact a better deal…The menu was not as impressive as the website suggests…I ordered lobster ravioli at $23.95 and received 7 not homemade with no crabmeat or tomatoes. One of my Grand Daughters ordered the beautiful NY Strip medium well; it came out late medium rare. When returned fifteen minutes later it was perfect but the entire table had finished eating…I hope we experienced a night where key kitchen help did not show up for work; otherwise this restaurant needs to tighten up to stay in business…

Recibimos una cálida bienvenida del equipo a su llegada. La decoración es luminosa y moderna. Las comidas estaban bien presentadas y llenas de sabor y uno de los servidores, Sila, es eficiente, profesional y muy amable. El Risotto alla pescatora era realmente excelente. Una velada muy agradable.

Qué gran hallazgo. Elegimos Amesbury para reunirse en familia, ya que vivimos a 2 horas de distancia el uno del otro y Amesbury está en el medio. Somos 7 adultos, 7 niños, un bebé y un perro! El carvery era tan bueno. Nos sirvieron porciones generosas de carne muy tierna y sabrosa (ternera, pollo, cerdo) y un pastel. La elección de verduras era extensa, bien cocinada y de nuevo, muy sabrosa. El personal amable entregó un gran servicio y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Un pub tradicional que sirve buena comida.

We stopped over in this area to break up a journey to Bude. Decided to have dinner in this pub. Really warm welcome from the lady behind the bar and when her colleague took over she was just as friendly. The food was fantastic, I had the cod and chips which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the burger which he really enjoyed. Would recommend this place 💯.

First time of using on just eat and delivery. Superb food, great taste, plenty of food would recommend and I am pretty fussy when it comes to Indian so this was top notch
