Such a pretty location, and today was beautiful with plenty of people around. The gift and coffee shop was doing a great trade. They have nice coffee and cake along with canal based gifts. Very friendly owner. The locks here look like hard work as thereās so many of them in a row. A great little place to visit

Everything we had was really tasty. We ordered about 4 starter plates to begin and then after we had eaten them we ordered 2 main course plates and 2 sides. This was a perfect amount of food for 2 and was reasonably priced for the quality. We particularly liked the cod croquettes, the wood fired sea bass and beef in Chianti. Serivce was very good and there were some nice touches - complimentary lemoncillo at the end and they allowed us to buy one glass of Chianti despite the menu stating you could only buy it by the bottle.

Were here during the Easter holidays. A super nice pub. A very special flair. We fell in love straight away š. The staff and guests were very, very nice and friendly. The food was super delicious. We will definitely come back on our next vacation. The location on the canal is a dream...

What a fantastic place!!!! The surroundings and ambience were vibrant ,staff were friendly and helpful the food was divine and Kyle (the General Manager) could not have done more to ensure that we enjoyed our dining experience, from cracking jokes to topping up our wine glasses! I will definitely be recommending The Boot in Lapworth to my friends, and I hope to visit again as soon as possible!

Well. After the majority of us staying away for over twelve months we decided to pop back for a few Xmas drinks to see how things were. Not a lot has improved since the last visit, no atmosphere even though it was a day or so before Xmas, when the previous owners had the navigation it would be full of customers and lots of atmosphere, currently its devoid of both ! There was two tables eating food (probably 7-8 people) and that was it. But of a wait at the bar before we saw anyone, and the drink selection was ok, Guinness served was average at best and glasses need a good clean. The bin was overflowing in the toilet and it all smelled a bit dirty. Once the two tables eating had left there was no one else in but us. Considering every other pub in the area was busy itās clear The Navigation is being avoided. It needs a characteristic Manager and a dam good clean. Oakman inns are you really just going to allow this pub to carry on into what can only be its closure! Such a sad pub that was once a vibrant pub and restaurant.

I will start by saying that do not normally eat in the pubs attached to premier inns, the food is nearly always dry and horrible but tonight, well, tonight, it was completely different. Firstly the staff on the floor all very pleasant and helpful , well done to you all. Secondly, to the kitchen staff. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. I can say it was the best mixed grill I have ever had In a pub attached to a hotel. Dan, Craig and Tom, really well done lads. You did the chain proud this evening. I had plans for visiting Asian restaurants this week but you will probably see me again in Thyme before Friday. Well done to all the staff. Ps, the wins were also great. Thanks for a great meal.
