Boxing Day family meal, lovely and warm pub, nice atmosphere and food was lovely

“I have visited this place several times over the past two years, and I can confidently say that it serves the best mixed grill I’ve had in Wolverhampton and Birmingham. The lamb chops are exceptionally tasty, and the curries are fantastic—full of flavor and clearly made with care. You can tell the owner takes great pride in running the restaurant, and it really shows in the quality of the food and service. It’s in a great location too! If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend it—you won’t regret it.”

He visitado este restaurante muchas veces con amigos y familiares, algunos de los cuales son italianos. La comida aquí es siempre fresca, grandes porciones y lo más importante auténtica comida cocinada italiana. Está en un entorno encantador, y el personal me parece muy servicial, profesional y amable. Para que mis amigos italianos digan que comerán allí, entonces dicen mucho. Volveré de nuevo en 2 semanas para mi excursión regular a uno de mis lugares de comida más favoritos.

Called ahead for a collection, when I got there at the agreed time I had to wait 25 mins for the food to arrive from the kitchen. When we got home there were big clumps of spice in the food which made it inedible. Guessing it was cooked in a rush. Terrible service and terrible food.

It’s considered the best restaurant within the area. You will need bus number 3 from Wellinghall and you stop right behind the restaurant.

Very poor customer service don’t take any responsibility of order via website and claim to be a third party company. Food use to be good but not anymore, ordered “loaded pepperoni but looking at the photo just looks standard.

Fui a Minhs anoche pedí una comida para llevar la comida era horrible, el arroz no era arroz frito con huevo, era arroz blanco con huevo revuelto en la parte superior, el curry era asqueroso cubierto de aceite 4 piezas de pollo principalmente hongos y cebollas, las patatas fritas estaban secas y parecían y sabían como si hubieran sido recalentados. La peor experiencia de mi vida, la señora detrás del mostrador era agradable. Solía ir a este restaurante hace años con mis hijos cuando vivíamos en Tettenhall la comida era encantadora entonces, nunca lo recomendaría de nuevo.

Excellent food, beautiful surroundings and first class staff who went out of their way to help. As a solo traveller I was made to feel very special. Well worth a visit.

Mi novio y yo disfrutamos de nuestra experiencia. El personal amable se fijó en nosotros cuando estábamos comiendo nuestra comida y estaba muy interesado cuando estábamos jugando en el interruptor Nintendo.

We used to order via telephone and pay cash on collection but they now want me to pay card over the phone. Firstly I’m not comfortable giving a company like this card details over the phone and secondly I do believe in trying to use cash where possible to support small businesses. Because I want to pay cash I now have to go in and order, pay the cash then wait 15-20 mins (more judging by reading the recent reviews on wait times!). I may as well go to Popins on Limes Rd if that is now the case, there’s no benefit or convenience with going with Village Plaice anymore. Terrible decision that no doubt other customers are suffering with too.
