The best restaurants in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Popped into the tea room for a light lunch. We asked for the club sandwich in wholemeal but with only two slices of bread instead of the three. It was served with a nice crisp side salad. We had a pot of tea for two and my Daughter had a delicious slice of lemon cake. The lady serving us was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely return.

Also fantastic fish and chips - we have called several times and the standard is first class The owner is always friendly and chatty.

Ordered takeaway. Bhajis were undercooked, raw in the middle. Main was slightly above average, plenty of meat, balti sauce was tasty but nothing special. Also had too many mushrooms in the balti sauce. Naan was ok. Value for money 7/10 Taste/Quality 7/10

Have heard a lot of good things about this place so gave it a go. It didn't disappoint. Lots of tasty small plates, reasonably priced. Sushi and chicken dragon rolls, tasty and moreish. The main courses are huge, we shared one and it was plenty, hot and packed with flavour. Sake also enjoyed. Really busy with a relaxed vibe. Service friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

He probado varios de los currys de Marks y cada vez me han dejado boquiabierto los sabores, pero el Mutton on the bone de esta semana fue absolutamente magnífico. Muy recomendable.

Excellent Ice Cream, a total must to visit! Superb choice of flavours, so much so its difficult to either choose or have rhe same one as last time....

Discovered this gem while exploring Patrington in September. Menu limited due to Covid restrictions but homemade sausage roll and delicious Baileys cheesecake filled the gap. Local cask ales also available. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

It's slightly disheartening to hear of other people getting a service with a smile, I've been numerous times and never received that kind of welcome, and after my family's last visit we decided we wouldn't be going back as the sandwiches were not that good

Went here for a takeaway and did not feel very welcome. Food was OK, though nothing special and they were unable to accept cards for months due to 'techincal difficulties'. There's much better food, service and management available locally.

Got 2 large fish one chips , 2 peas . Cooked fresh while I was there . Crispy batter lovely white fish . My fav fish shop in Driffield .

¡Qué gran pub! La mejor pinta han tenido en siglos y un gran servicio de John y Jamie. Lugar perfecto para unas copas con amigos, familia o simplemente una pinta en solitario! Buen ambiente , amigable y si lo tuyo son los deportes entonces has encontrado el lugar adecuado.

Lovely staff always a warm welcome. Now dog friendly inside which is good for us - spacious enough for even our large dog to lay down without him being a bother to others. Really nice home cooked food - all meat bought from a local butcher and veg from a local greengrocer so it is really nice to support the local community as a whole. We visit often and will continue to do so!

I can not fault this restaurant at all. The food and service is excellent. The atmosphere is lovely and as a family we look forward to going back time and time again.
