I can't comment as I was only dropping off, however I would say I was driving a limousine at the time and dropping off my passenger's was straightforward due to the more than adequate space in the Car park and the ability to renter the road was good. Thankyou

Charming surroundings in this small boutiqe Tea room. The staff are friendly, the food is good and really large proportions. My wife and friends ordered toastie but actually they could have ordered only half as one order is big enough to share between two. Next time we are in the vicinity we will definitely be back

Brilliant find and a little gem of a restaurant in the heart of knaresborough, managed to fit us in at last minute on New Year’s Eve and the service and food was brilliant. Amazing value for money and choice as well. Will be visiting again when in the area.

Stumbled on this little eatery while visiting Knaresborough on a Sunday lunch time. We went in to get maybe a sandwich and thought it wasn’t going to be great to be honest but ended up having a cooked lunch and it was so good! The place was busy and you could tell they were locals as they were chatting across to each other. We looked at the menu and decided to have have a cooked meal. I ordered pie chips and peas and my husband a burger with chips salad and coleslaw and a pot of tea. You could actually get a 3 course Sunday lunch for £14.50! When mine came there were no peas but another bowl soon arrived full of fresh vegetables and a big jug of gravy. Food was really good the staff were lovely. The lady said that as she had been cooking Sunday lunches she gave me some of the veg. We were thoroughly impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Great food and great value for money! Definitely worth trying!

Great little cafe on the backs of the Nidd in Knaresborough. Good service, lovely food and delicious coffee.

This was our first visit to Lawai Spice and we were impressed. Our curries were all decent portions and very tasty, as were the various breads and side dishes. I also thought that the prices were most reasonable. The service throughout was attentive and very friendly and we will certainly come back.

Came for Sunday Lunch and firstly put in the tightest of corners behind a family already eating and had to disturb them during their meal. We then both ordered the beef and the portion size was poor for the meat only one slice each and tried to fill half the plate with cabbage, the roast potatoes weren’t fully cooked and beef was far too chewy, finally when asking for the bill they just forgot about us and we waited another 20 minutes then just went to the bar and paid no apologies either. The two main things the food and service were just not good enough sadly and does not represent the prices they charge.

Enjoyed our first Sunday lunch for husbands birthday today, the best we have ever tasted and enjoyed, highly recommend, superbly presented with the most delicious flavours and very plentiful too. Wonderful service too. Sitting by the fire in Harry's (dog friendly) bar is such a delight too. Such a decadent place.

The food is very good and the menu is varied. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good. They serve a very nice roast each day which is tasty and good value for money.

We chose the Mahadi's Homemade Malaysian sardines for birthday treat lunch today .Haven't had them for ages they we gorgeous!

Quite pricy, pie was not great and the chips were just ok. servers were nice

Friendly staff in this quaint old fashioned pub. Make sure to take cash as they don't accept cards.

Super spot by he river with plenty of outdoor seating. Great for a cuppa after a dog walk or a dip.
