The best restaurants in Almondbury Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Would recommend ordering via Facebook messenger as their phone lines are very busy. Really easy service and fairly fast delivery even on new year's eve. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, highly recommend.

Not really impressed with the food have ordered a few times and has been really good. Ordered garlic roti no garlic on it and was very dry like it has been made a few hours ago. Shashlik was not really what great thought this is supposed to be a dry dish but was just a curry. Might rethink about ordering ever again

Visited this local cafe for brunch. Has recently changed hands and the welcome was far warmer than from the previous owner. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food and drinks arrived in a short space of time. The kedgeree was absolutely amazing and comes highly recommended… as does the carrot cake. Will definitely be visiting again soon

This is not what I ordered. I only ordered 2 things, I'm not sure how it can be done so wrong.

Went to ask for table to be met by a shark smile and flared nostrils. Some confusion about if she would deign to give us a table. A sneery patronising snarl asked if we had reserved. We had not so we were asked if we would like to go upstairs. I am disabled but agreed I would get upstairs as the menu looked lovely and the coffee smelled delicious. Snarly face then said , 'well you will be waiting over half an hour if you do'. We left - a shame. Do the owners know they are losing business?.

This chippy has just recently changed owners & also changed its name to “Traditional Fish & Chips” but the chips served to me won’t fully cooked? Also the fish batter had no taste & they’ve put the prices up! I was a regular customer who used to enjoy the previous owners food but these new people have no idea how to cook “traditional fish & chips” so i’ll definitely NEVER go again & take my valued custom elsewhere!!!

We placed a order at 7.30pm and still wasn't delivered 2hours later. Delivery driver said he couldn't find house, we had to find him, no apology no nothing. Would not recommend this take away to anyone. Stay well away.

Lovely food, helpful staff shame there weren’t more people in. I had the small breakfast, tasty and proper bread for toast.

The first thing I noticed was that we were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday 7pm , that's fine. Then I noticed I'd gone back a few Decades, unusual wall art, huge metal horses, chandeliers. Food was nice. The lady that served us is where the 5 stars come in, She made us giggle so much when she was moving stuff around on our table. She put plate warmers on the table and our food on top. We organised it so we could reach our own meals. Lady came back and moved our food out of reach without saying a word. And then moved things on our table an inch or 2. We just sat there watching our chopsticks being moved half an inch, then our glasses moved half an inch. My son had ordered crispy duck. She brought it out on a hostess trolley, put on white gloves and stripped the meat off the bone. I'm sure this is normal but we're not used to fine dining so the level of twitching around us felt quite amusing. I nearly forgot to mention toilets! I didn't see any accessible loo, the toilets were downstairs, absolutely freezing and the hand dryer made a noise but barely puffed any air at all! Very bad and basic toilet!

We didn't have to book a table and our order was served quickly. The food was very good and was excellent value for money.

Foods are fresh and flavourful. Best pizza’s I've had in this recent time. Curry’s are so delicious.

My order was wrong i asked for a chicken sandwich i got chicken nuggets!

Had two pizza from spice House this evening, really disappointed, they were like toast with a few toppings and hardly any tomatoe base. I spoke to them about the thin base and they said its the way the dough rises, bloody disgusting. Poor customer service, we're much better before new management took over.

Well thought I would treat myself on a sat morning to a full English ! After ordering it plus an extra fried egg it arrived …….. the slice of bacon was poor quality and the sausages were awful . Due to this I decided to leave half of it ! Come on Morrison’s put some decent quality food on the plate . Pity as the staff were pleasant.
