The best restaurants in North Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Myself and my partner are local and have used this restaurant before, so we decided to change things a bit and book for Christmas dinner. What an excellent choice and will probably be booking early for Christmas 25. The atmosphere, service and attention of the staff was second to none and nothing was a trouble. If I am being really picky, we do tend to book upstairs as it is a little quieter. The full menu was on offer and the recommendations of the member of staff looking after us was also excellent (my partner normally has lamb naga, but mutton was recommended, which proved to be a good move, so tender and flavoursome) My main was a chicken madras (I have this regular it does vary from chef to chef) and I have to say it was probably the best I have ever had. The flavours and heat were extremely well balanced. My naan was sliced into 4 quarters which made it easy to eat. The attention to detail of the whole meal was superb. If you like Indian quinine and you are fairly local, you must try this restaurant.

Booked a near by restaurant for a friends 40th and an hour before the booking they cancelled it . Ended up messaging yellow belly’s who booked us in and we went and had loads of different pizzas and cocktails and they were honestly amazing . Staff were great and prices even better . 1 niggle was they’d only just opened so the place was freezing but I’m sure it soon warms up . Will defo be back . Thank you for a better evening than we had planned .

Wonderful three course lunch in a lovely room, Great service and delicious food. Would highly recommend this location.

Attended here Saturday in a group of 15. The food was excellent. Most of us had Steak, everybody commented how tasty it was. The chips were delicious. The service was very good. Well worth a visit.

This remains a superb place to visit and eat. Especially love the paintings on the wall by supremely talented local artists. Bring culture to rural outposts.

I needed somewhere that delivered a Sunday roast due to recovering from heart surgery and I came across this place nearby that did just that. Once it arrived it was hot and smelt amazing. The portions were very generous and the food tasted absolutely amazing! Me and my kids absolutely enjoyed every bit. It was all homemade even the Yorkshire puddings. We even have the puddings and the crumbles were excellent. Honestly this place is a little gem and we will certainly be repeat customers. Thank you all for a lovely meal

Very pleasant tea room indeed .the staff efficient and friendly .they were brilliant with my baby grandson. Nicely cooked and presented food .Will return next time in the area

All I can say is YUM YUM !! Was absolutely lovely, one of the best Sunday dinners I’ve had in a long time in Scunthorpe that’s for sure !!! Delivery was super quick and the food was nice and hot still !! Portion sizes are great too i couldn’t mange it all there was that much (al have that for tea lol) Will deffo be going back again !

Quality, Quality, Quality...... Locally sourced meat....Great service from great staff. If there are any issues, they go out of their way to solve them. Would recommend.

Went for the first time for a treat with my mum for an afternoon tea at Brumby Hall, Scunthorpe and it was brilliant! John and Jill were amazing hosts and all the food was homemade and absolutely delicious and very filling and very good value for money, couldn't eat it all had to take a doggy bag home! Loved the little jelly trifles! The lounge was very comfortable and relaxing with some music on in the background. I would definately recommend Brumby Hall Events Afternoon Teas for everyone, go and have a nice afternoon at Brumby Hall behind The Pods Leisure Centre in Scunthorpe. Thank you very much xx

Pensamos en probar este salón de té como nos gusta ir a otro nuevo, y lo que un lugar encantador! Curiosamente decoradas con muy hechas a mano 'kitsch', y un montón de artesanías en exposición, todas eran para la venta. Elegimos una merienda cada uno (bien por qué no) y nos dieron la opción de rellenos de sándwiches, pan blanco o marrón y té o café. Sólo nos las arreglamos para comer, olvidar la crema bollos a seguir! Por suerte, sugirió que llevarlas a casa, que nos han hecho. El personal era muy agradable y atento, llénelo mi hervidora para mí. Sin duda nos alojaremos de nuevo allí y también de comprar algunas de las artesanías en exposición.

Lovely food. We eat them regularly. Food is always ready when we collect it, warm, big portions and VERY, VERY tasty. My favourite take away in Bridgend.

Amazing food, everything fresh and delicious. Only in the area for a work but so good that I ordered double to take home.

Great food, service, and flavours. Definately worth a visit or 2 to try more from the menu. Sirloin was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef.
