The best restaurants in Wath Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Had a really nice Madras here last night.

My wife & I have been to this Inn quite a few times now & have enjoyed each of the meals we have had so far -the only improvement I would recommend for us to give it a 5 star rating is that the interior decor be brightened up as it looks quite dull and outdated when you are sat eating

Ordered for the first time food took 2 hours and 15 minutes to come, when it came delivery driver apologised for the wait when we opened the food it was underwhelming the hash browns and eggs were burnt most of the food was cold warmest thing being the hash browns which were luke warm

Really enjoyed this chinese take away. They only take cash on site and card payment can be done online for delivery or collection. Good fast service and the food was lovely. Restricted parking spaces just outside the door. I would recommend and will return again.

Went in tonight ordered 2 very curries and 1 fried rice beef was very tough and chewy curry sauce bland and rice not cooked enough will never go again very dissatisfied overall 😑

Ordered from here tonight after looking at some of there reviews. This has to be awarded the worst kebab I have ever seen absolutely terrible. The kebab meat was like it was last weeks and the tomatoes were rotten. Would definitely avoid I should have gone to my usual but thought I would give it a go big mistake.

I've had these quite a few times and have always loved the food! Today I decided to have the yorky pud filled boat! And it was mint!!! Well worth the money!

went to this takeaway over 30 years since on the first night it opened in wath, food has always been spot on, that is until tonight, granted i have not used the takeaway for quite some time, and by the low quality of my food tonight i wont be using again, over an hour to be delivered less than 2 mile, food absolutely freezing it all went in the bin, i may as well have got £21 and thrown it onto the street, shocking !!

We are always coming for breakfast. Can't complain. Nice portions. Only once food was cold but we forgiven this mistake.

Burger meal arrived chips looked like not bin cooked burger was like mush like someone had sat on it complained 2 manager said it was nothing 2 do with him. Discusting food with disgusting customer service. It's the first time I've eaten from the Gate inn. Will definitely be my last.

Service was incredibly slow for two sandwiches, think we waited around 15 minutes for two sandwiches and there was only one girl working. Used to be really good but think it’s gone down hill.

Love going to Tesco cafe the staff are amazing and the manager is so helpful and friendly would recommend to anyone

Wow just ad a delivery for myself and my son only chicken and chips it was absolutely beautiful the chicken was so moist the skin was perfect chips was bloody lovely too 😋

Always good service. Wished they opened a little later, though. Love to go and have a coffee and a natter. Friendly and miserable staff
