The best restaurants in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

This place serves bland, fancy-looking food that’s far from authentic Indian cuisine. Tiny portions, high prices, and a rude, biased manager ruin the experience. The cramped, noisy atmosphere makes it even worse. Avoid if you want real value or flavor. Moreover we travelled extra miles just to visit this place because of good review but reality is completely different and worse. After paying more than 100£ we search for another restaurant.

My miniscule fish was dark grey & my husband's was pink. Batter was sloppy on the inside & undercooked.

The best I’ve found in Sheffield so far! 5 stars scores on the doors, they deserve it.

Very cold very old and the food was cold the owner was very frosty and un welcoming

The food here is top notch. I had the sous vide duck leg and it was genuinely interesting and delicious. It was both earthy and sweet having been made with mushroom and Truffle oil. The duck itself was lovely and tender. And the cannoli was crunchy, sweet, creamy and moorish. We are lucky to have a chef of Mario’s talent here in Sheffield.

Been coming here for years and it’s always banging. Excellent range, BIG portions, cheap prices. The best in Sheffield IMO. I moved out of the local area a couple of years ago but still come back get that beef drippin’ taste.

Great place, the always a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. A great atmosphere and not overpriced either. But be warned it can and does often get very busy

Good prices and large portions, food was tasty but not the best Italian we have had. One waitress was really lovely, I think her name was Ioana so compliments to her! Sadly the staff member that seated us/served us at first seemed a bit irritated by our presence which dampened it a little for us.

Ellie was a great host, making sure we had everything. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the small plates, Yorkshire poutine, hot Korean popcorn and cauli wings.

Such a lovely place for a peaceful break. Really delicious food (both the lunch menu and the cakes) and a great selection of drinks. The owner is always really friendly and the environment is lovely and calming. A great place for a trip with friends or by yourself.
