Coffee wasn't made with the love, presentation was mediocre Taste was poor Food was way way below acceptable for the price point. Soup says it has bread and butter but it came with margarine and when I asked for butter, he waiter said it was butter, well I'd just prefer honesty. They ask for a tip before you have sat down, a definite no no, do they think that we are in the USA! For all that, it was my choice to try it out, I have and I certainly won't be going back.

We had been recommended the barrel by some friends who had been a few years ago. I was excited to try the pie I’d heard so much about. We were greeted and seated quickly. The decor is dated and the seating is very close together, could hear everything the couple next to us were saying. We ordered from the menu. There is limited choice but I suppose it’s a small venue. The food arrived very quickly, first impressions were good, but we quickly realised that the food wasn’t amazing. The pie crust was hard like really hard and the insides were dry, I think it had been reheated. And the cottage pie was nice but it was being over powered by the chives/ spring onion garnish on top. The presentation although looks good, isn’t functional to eat. As everything is in pretty little bowls on a board so you can’t add your veg to your meal as there isn’t any room. Disappointed. 6/10

Firstly I have to say that Jameson's is a great place for amazing afternoon teas and we have been there because of this on multiple occasions..... Last weekend they managed to exceed all our expectations however, as they did us a private evening function to celebrate a retirement. This is probably not what you would expect from what is a very sedate tearooms during the day, but at 5pm on Saturday it was transformed. We had welcome drinks, a bar, live music and the most fantastic buffet. Our 45 or so guests were blown away by the hospitality and level of catering provided by owners Mark and Suzy and front of house led by Louise with service from Antonia and Eve was brilliant. We had local hugely talented musician Max Sharp providing a range of great party songs with keyboards, guitar and sax, all finishing with a couple of Christmas bangers which had everyone up and dancing. A great night with dancing, music and most of all great food and hospitality from the whole Jameson's team. Thank you !!!

Llamé a Massarellas hoy con mi amigo para una moca flaca y un pastel, un pastel de queso pastel de cereza. Siempre es un placer ir allí. La tarta de queso era muy agradable y me encantó la decoración de la parte superior espumosa de la moca. . Gracias al personal que siempre es tan amable y amable. Gracias a Timea por hacernos sentir bienvenidos. .

Great place, lovely people and stunning food. The bruchetta was delicious and the welcome warm. I was really taken with this place; lovely people; good tasty food, and a great atmosphere at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I needed food inbetween trains. Biriyani was yummy! They did takeaway, very reasonably priced, didnt take long and was only a 2min walk from the station. Nice staff too :)

Me and my hubbie walk a fair distance to this pub for the most fabulous home cooked food and the best pint around. Tanya and Jamie are such hard workers and nothing is too much trouble. Both friendly and welcoming despite having to work so hard to get the place up and running again after several knock backs including being treat very poorly by previous landlady, naming no names but take a look at the ONE and only bad review (lol) They deserve only the best after putting heart and soul into the place. Great for quiz night too, just make sure if you’re eating you leave plenty of room. Nice big portions. Especially the yummy fish and chips and homemade puddings. They don’t disappoint.

Food is great but the ordering process at Sharrowvale is becoming a car crash. Online orders back up, the staff can’t cope and walk in becomes chaos. Walk in orders then start ordering for return in 20 mins and jump the queue. Those that wait in line are waiting 25-35 mins for a simple burrito. I feel really sorry for staff. If you walk in you wait and watch them try to wade through online orders. After coming here for a long time every Friday on my way home from work I’m going elsewhere. Food is lovely but sadly due to their success the service is now terrible.
