Service was the worst at our stay in the hotel, staff were asked twice on drink order took 45 minutes also our friend found a hair in her chicken curry which puts a question of the hygiene rate in the kitchen, also staff didn’t know anything about the menu and staff weren’t informed on what was on the menu. The food we had was lovely and the atmosphere was perfectly fine. Credits to the lady with the ginger hair she done everything we had asked her and knew her job role very well The hair in the food problem was resolved with a discount much appreciated but still believe regulations need to be made.

I had my sons christening meal yesterday . Have to say I was so disappointed and embarrassed as to the bad disorganisation lack of communication left to staff on the day regarding our booking. Table was set up which was so cramped in for 15 people and didn't have the space to even sit my son in the carseat. Paid for drink arrival which wasn't even set up. Had to take it upon myself to ask to set up bigger table on the opposite side. Atop of this was there was only one young girl to serve our Table. Then had to get my brothers to lift Table for the cake over to where I asked to be moved too. Once wee finally got set up took near hour from starter to main. Plates left not lifted between courses had to ask for plates and cuttery for cake ,ask for kids ice cream. It was so disheartening and stressful for me as I organized everything myself as single mum wanted it all to be a breeze but it was far from it. Only thing I give credit for was the food big portions and fantastic beef and too the wee girl tat helped our Table she did what she could do for us so big shout out to her and welldone. But rant over alot money paid which I saved for it should of been alot more better then what wee got as I know anywhere else would of been alot better run. I pick there as I always liked there food was told everything will be under control i had nothing to worry over it was fair from tat.

The restaurant has quite an interesting decor, it reminds you of the late 1800s. The chairs abs tables are comfortable and there is enough space in between tables to allow for privacy and comfort. The staff is friendly, the service fast, the menu is basic...

Beautiful place. Shame About the rest!! We rarely get out without kids and my gosh was I glad the kids weren’t there. As a grown adult I do not mind waiting a little on a main course but this was Joke. Starters were fab but the main Course was majorly delayed and the portions tiny. 4 pieces of meat per dish. Perfect for a small child…adult meal nope. Shockingly over priced. Such a pity as the staff were so nice and helpful. The atmosphere 10/10. Newry NEEDS a place like this but just level up and get your act together. Veggie dish was Shocking too. Froozen NOT fresh veg (for £13 a dish) Nann terrible. Clearly not home made. So disappointed.

A relaxed spot. Friendly & welcoming staff. Unfortunately they were sold out of chicken fillet burgers when we were there - which I guess is a good sign!. I had one of their smash burgers and kids had chicken goujons & chips. Chips were thin and crispy and went down a treat as did my burger. I'll give it another whirl.
