The best restaurants serving American food in Colchester East of England

Meat was nice but chips very disappointing. Extremely crunchy to point of being unpleasant. Normally in a pub you'd expect a member of staff to check and ask how the food is during the meal. No one bothered despite being a quiet night in January. Also no staff bothered to clear table meaning we had to do so ourselves. If it was busy it's understandable but not busy. Seems young staff were more interested in cleaning area behind bar and chatting than checking on customers.

Staff had no interest in helping with allergy information. Was told there was no allergy menu and that there was “probably” nothing we could have. I pushed and was told they could not be sure what ingredients were included! I pushed again and was handed an allergy folder. No dairy free ice cream options at all. Only one sorbet dish. How out dated! And disgracefully dismissive of our young boys needs in a family venue.

Me my wife and daughter had 3 different meals and not one was nice. All tasted disgusting and cost near on £40. I had this in America and was lovely, UK version obviously is rubbish quality.
