The best restaurants serving American food in South Norfolk East of England

Ok so maybe I’m being biased but when a place is called (smoke house) you would think that the food is cooked over open coals/bbq…….sadly not the case! If you want to eat a very overpriced rustlers burger 🍔 this place is for you, the staff on the other hand were lovely but oh my goodness if I wanted to eat my doormat it would most likely be a lot more flavoursome! Don’t waste your money on overpriced Rustlers!

We recently enjoyed a Saturday evening family meal at Netherton Steakhouse. The waiting staff were very welcoming. The food was excellent and we had various burgers, steak and macaroni cheese. All cooked beautifully and generous portions. We were sat next to the bar area and the staff constantly apologised for the noise, but this really didn't bother us and we didn't complain but even so we were given a couple of complimentary drinks - very nice touch - thank you. Look forward to revisiting in the summer when we can sit in the lovely garden area.

Ordered through Uber eats, I’m not sure why but that branch can’t get orders right. I’m stopping going there. This time £43 ordered about 5.30pm didn’t get till 7.15pm. Cold meal, asked for one burger to be plain and it had everything on it that my son doesn’t like. How hard is it to read an order? Once we ordered a chicken select meal 5 pieces, we opened it to find 2, they only do a 3 or 5 piece ?? Last order, we ordered cheesy bites, they just forgot to put it in the bag ! Why don’t the check the order before sending with uber eats or drive through !

I went back to get a replacement meal after a previous one had the chips missing from the meal. The burger was flat and obviously rushed and the large coffee was cold and the level was a small in a large cup. I’ll be avoiding this restaurant in the future.
