The best restaurants serving American food in St Albans East of England

Visited the new location in Caledonian Road, just opposite tube station. The chips were AMAZING!! The flavour of the chicken was also very nice. Management was very friendly and hospitable. Overall 10 out of 10 service!

Ben and co. were tremendous. Food and pricing were fair. It's great to see a place grow over time.

Just been to Prime this evening for a family birthday meal. I have many severe allergies.(Egg, milk, nuts, mustard). They really looked after me. The food was gorgeous. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. A lovely evening. Thank you Prime. Highly recommend to others.

The quality of the food was again fantastic. However, the service wasn't great. We recieved our lettuce wedge before our starters, our mains arrived before our starters had been cleared, and we both ended up with different sauces to what we ordered. My side arrived halfway through my main meal and the steak was not cooked rare. Our night was completely ruined by a group of young men who decided to laugh at the top of their voices the entire meal like we were in a pub! Staff didn't ask for them to quieten down once and we ate our meal as quickly as possible and left. We thought the 'Happy Birthday' dessert was a nice touch, until the server came over to get payment whilst my husband was still eating it! All in all, not the usual experience we get elsewhere and considering the amount of money and the fact it was a special ocassion I am so upset at the experience we had.

Visited The Bull, Wheathampstead for a meal and catch up with friends. We had a lovely meal with everything delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Belinda was attentive but not intrusive and was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. I couldn’t decide which cocktail to choose and Belinda recommended the Disarrano Blush which didn’t disappoint and I highly recommend too. The Bull is well worth a visit, lovely location especially if you get to sit outside by the river on a nice summer’s day.

Fantastic place. Massive portions. I would say it does the best breakfast in St Albans. The place was clean, tidy and the staff were welcoming. My only complaint would be the noise. It is a very noisy cafe... Because it's so popular. The radio was definitely not needed and just added to the background noise which is annoying if you want to ha e a nice conversation or simply some peace

We have had some nice meals here over the years, but now as there are rumours of closure, some employees have lost interest or have left.

Very nice bar, mood lighting, well decorated and just has a lovely feel. Knowledgeable barman gave great service. Pub has a great range of spirits alongside a good cocktail list. Well worth a visit.

Chips were cold and food only warm .
