The best restaurants serving American food in South East

Holy crap turn that music down - it was crazy today - I want to eat in peace not listen to the junk you play at high volume. I have no issue with loud music (....I mean I listen to death metal FFS....) but a public eating space just ain't the right place for it.

Pedí la hamburguesa de queso con tocino y quesos Mac 'n' fritos con un baño de búfalo que nuestro camarero recomendó. Él era amable y el ambiente del restaurante era bastante agradable, es por eso que elijo 2 * para esta opinión y no un 1 *. Una cosa que me gustó, fueron las salsas en cada mesa que se pueden utilizar tanto como quieras. Al ordenar, amablemente le pregunté al camarero si nuestra hamburguesa se puede hacer sin selecciones y nos aseguró que se resolverá. Por supuesto que liaron el pedido e hicieron la hamburguesa con pepinillos, que yo por ahí y los dejé en la bandeja (visible en las fotos que añadí a esta reseña). También el baño de búfalo que nos recomendaron fue HORRIBLE. Absolutamente el peor tipo de salsa que hemos probado, es extrañamente picante también. Me encanta la comida picante, pero eso fue asqueroso. Permítanme también mencionar que los llamados quesos Mac 'n' también son una estafa y apenas se puede probar los quesos Mac 'n' que se sienten dentro de esos bolsillos fritos. Así que los platos bothh fueron un desastre y pagamos £ 23. 40 por solo lo que se puede ver en el plato. Realmente no vale la pena la lucha y el dinero para visitar este lugar. Por supuesto que añadieron un mendatory 12. 5% de cargo por servicio en la factura también. Encuentro esto completamente ridículo e indignante ya que te dejan un cargo extra por un servicio horrible y comida. Ahórrate un dolor de cabeza y visita un restaurante diferente como por ejemplo "Bill's Brighton Restaurant", que es mucho mejor y vale la pena visitar.

On a recent pub crawl around the town on a freezing 3c Saturday, every pub we visited had a roaring fire and nice warm atmosphere apart from the Sussex Arms ! Freezing cold, no fires ? No people, hence no atmosphere!! When we enquired why the fires were not lit the barmaid replied " Someone forgot to order the wood" well this is simply not good enough, we noticed several tables reserved for evening meals, well I'm sure they weren't impressed either, Sack whoever is responsible, I would !!!

We have come from the Netherlands and I have seen great reviews about this place so had to try! I can say it was one of the best burger restaurants we have been to. The service was great, the portion sizes were great! We decided to share a few bits so we could a taste of different dishes and even so, that was more than enough for 2 people. The burger (fatty Freddy) had so much flavour, was juicy, would definitely recommend. We had loaded fries, these were some of the loaded qua toppings, it had a lot of flavour! We also tried beef Niknaks, these were great with favour! The only thing that could have been improved was a little more crispy, some pieces of beef were a little tougher and it was a little more soggy feel, a little more crisp would have been perfect, but I would still recommend. Additionally we had sauce. The cheese warm sauce is a must, that just goes with everything! I would also recommend the OG burger sauce, these two sauces were amazing with the burger and under ideal dishes! Location is great, plenty of choice for parking, we went during the day, it was calm and the interior was relaxing like a pub theme with tv’s on the wall, so great for football or sports. Overall, pretty impressed with this place and would recommend to other and come back when we are taking a trip to the uk again! It

Hired the bar and function room for a surprise birthday party. Staff were extremely helpful with letting us setup before and assisted with packing up afterwards. Good size venue with a separate room which we used for a buffet. There is outside space as well. The bar staff are a credit to the Golf Club. Thank you.

Fascinating hamburger restaurant in a lovely town. I didn’t expect the burger would be that delicious. You must try it if you’re planning to visit Seven Sisters cliff.

The Prince Albert was a Shepherd Neame pub for years, but is now is a genuine free house, selling up to 3 cask ales and 12 craft beers and (mostly) premium lagers on keg. They take part every year in Hastings Tap Takeover, and regularly have their own tap takeovers, and an excellent Oktoberfest every year too. The food always looks enticing, but I live too close by to not feel right eating there (this ain't Eastenders!), but they have specialist food too, for example, specifically for Oktoberfest, you can guess what type of food then. On my last visit I enjoyed their Oktoberfest, including drinking British versions of German beer, but also the real thing, including 3 beers from Bavaria, Hacker-Pschorr's special seasonal 6.0% Oktoberfest Bier, Hofbrau Munchen's 6.3% Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier, and Flotzinger Brau's 5.8% Wies'n-Marzen, brewed specifically for the Rosenheim Autumn Festival. In addition, check with the Prince Albert's website if you would like to catch live music there, because they do have live music sessions. The pub opens at 16.00 during the week, and at 12.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Lovely food but terrible service - aware its Boxing Day but it wasnt that busy when we arrived - but 2 hours for a 2 course meal (one of those was just garlic bread) hubbys chips didnt arrive with main meal And after 15 mins gave up trying order dessert and asked for the bill instead!

Decent, clean, nice place to eat.

Love this place. Just don't expect the kitchen to run at full speed if you pick Friday or Saturday night.... You may have to wait for a few bits.... But, they are worth the wait. Great great place if you have kids, you can even sit in gaol!

Great cocktails and chicken wings. The staff went to extra lengths to make sure we enjoyed our visit.

What once was a go-to family favourite has recently become a bit of a let down. The portions seem to be getting smaller, which for the price is a bit ridiculous. But the most disappointing part has been the service lately. It has been so slow, even if you have made a reservation. It takes so long for even just a glass of water to come out on the tables. The food was okay, I had the tiger prawns and it was a little disappointing, very very small. I also had a burger, which was fine but not anything wow-factor. The drink I had (Blackberry Fizz) was also not good, and made me feel unwell. It tasted very watered down & felt like a sad mocktail.
