The best restaurants serving Asian food in Southend-on-Sea East of England

It was a little cold in there, they have some delicious dishes and their roti were something else, so light, crispy and perfection. The beef that we had was so tender and flavoursome, apart from the wonton soup which was a little bland.

We regularly have dinner here while doing the weekly quiz. The food is delicious, particularly the fish and chips and popcorn chicken! Reasonable price too and great choice of local beer. The staff are so friendly, which helps create a really welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to Tate who served us last week, top customer service as always!

Just had Christmas dinner here. We chose the salmon delight which was absolutely amazing. The sauce was incredible and eating here is just a fabulous experience. Everyone is really attentive, but without rushing you. It's no wonder it is such a popular restaurant.

I really wanted a nice meal from here. Wasn't the case. Onion baji pale and very under cooked in the middle, tiger prawn pakora were also under cooked prawns slimy and the batter turned into mush with mint sauce poured on. Chicken pathia, hard chicken very little sauce, watery, rice was actually nice, naan not so good, bits of actual charcoal on it and under cooked in places. I will say the price was very good, but doesn't make up for the food I'm afraid.

Food with literally no taste and no good options. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a waste of money and time. If you prefer any food(starter, main, side dish) dipped in sweet sauce, then yes, pick this restaurant.

Absolutely appalled by the experience we had on Sat night. Booked a table for 11 people (family came down from Ipswich, a yearly catch up). It was booked a couple of months ago and confirmed on the day. Was never told there were a few sittings. Our meal came fairly quickly and all was good up to that point. As soon as our meal was finished so our bill came which we never asked for as we were still drinking. They never even asked if we wanted a dessert or further drinks. We sat for a short while but was asked to leave as they needed the table. We were fuming as it had only been just over an hour since we got there. A long way to come for an hour. Needless to say we will not be going there again. So please when booking there make sure they tell how long you have.

Bought 2 beef dishes. Very oily and my beef chow mein tasted burnt. I called the shop spoke to Helen, think she was the manager. She was very rude saying Theres nothing i can do. No I dont think theres a problem. Avoid this place..

Takeaway only, but the food cannot be beaten. Very good quality and value for money.

The menu looked exciting. I was so disappointed with the food. It was very low quality, greasy and not wanted I had expected. Will not use this place again. Don't be fooled by the interesting sounding menu
