The best restaurants serving Asian food in City of London, Westminster London

One doesn't expect great service in Chinatown anywhere but this place seems to want to set the (low) standard. Still the food is good enough to make up for it. This visit we had the har gau, cheung fun, soft shell crab, calamari, beef with black bean sauce. Food was excellent. Served quickly. Piping hot. Robustly flavoured. Every last bit was devoured. Service was scary. Waitress would not allow us to order the steamed fish. Said it would take too long. To spread the fear and the pain, we took turns between the four of us to ask her for anything. To add a service charge on the bill at the end of all that just redefines hubris. I think they think it's all part of some cliched chinatown charm. Still, we are a family of foodies and will grit our teeth and return. At least it won't cost us over a 100 pounds to be insulted. Unless they relent and let us order the fish.

Terrible food, terrible service. AVOID. Went here for a supposedly quick lunch, and how wrong was i. Trying to pay was a hassle as it seemed that there was no staff and the staff that were there didn't seem interested at all.

Wanted a quick simple meal. Perfect! My son and I called on our way home. Very quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Wanted a quick meal and service from the very friendly and happy staff was just that. I would go again and try the BBQ at the table!

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese dessert company that does Taiwanese desserts. After browsing the menu, unless you've had this dessert before the menu isn't exactly helpful because the only difference is the tiny product pictures and the numbers. Being in London, I felt that the menu should be more informative for people who have not tried this dessert or perhaps they are trying to be selective with customers. In these situations, you can only call for the help on google to for online delivery platforms which have information on the desserts. The grass jelly was nice but wouldn't return.

Terminamos allí sólo porque otro restaurante coreano en la misma calle tenía un largo Cue y este parecía estar bien. La mitad del menú se tachó y algunas de sus opciones no estaban disponibles, así que no había muchas opciones. Las raciones eran muy pequeñas y un poco caro para lo que te dan. Calidad estaba bien.

Mi experiencia personal es que el huevo scotch katsu ha reducido drásticamente en tamaño sin explicación. Excelente plato pero muy mala relación ahora. Un colega mencionó que había notablemente menos pollo con su sándwich katsu que antes. No preocupa en estas cadenas de la ciudad tratando de cambio cuando hay tantas opciones en otros lugares.

Estuve en la ciudad por un corto viaje de negocios y me enteré en las redes sociales sobre este café que sirve excelente comida, especialmente el Nasi Lemak. Ya que no he regresado a Malasia por un tiempo, a lo largo de mi camino a este café me imaginé que debía haber una variedad de platos para elegir y definitivamente elegiré un rendang para acompañar mi nasi lemak. Desafortunadamente solo había 3 platos y el rendang ni siquiera estaba listo. Y era la hora del almuerzo. Realmente decepcionado. El lemak nasi era simplemente promedio, no impresionado. He probado mejor en otro lugar en Europa. Pero debo decir que el tarik era bastante bueno.

Dropped by for a quick lunch with a friend wanting a hot option for lunch and being a huge fan of dim sum. Ordered the lunch time option of a basket of dim sum, crackers and sticky rice. It was ok and did the job of filling me up, but I was not particularly impressed given the overall blandness of the food and for the price paid, a smaller portion than I would expect. The dim sum also felt overcooked and lacked the springy firm quality to the dough. This was particularly surprising given how it's owned by Ping Pong, who I would expect to be a bit more exacting with standards. I would not be returning and would rather spend a bit more time and money in a proper dim sum restaurant.
