Food was amazing This place is a great find, it’s not much to look at but the food was amazing It was a quiet night so we, with the other couple, were the only people in there so the food came out quickly It was piping hot and absolutely delicious Can’t really say much more but 100% you need to give this place a try

We have mixed feelings on this place. The wait staff were very friendly, but some of them not particularly well trained. We had to ask to make our drinks order after waiting for 15 minutes, a larger, more demanding table had come in just after us and I think they had been distracted by them, but good wait staff would clock how long each table had been waiting and prioritise accordingly. Our starters came out in good time, the Calamari was tasty but stringy so obviously not fresh, and the Tom Kha Kai was average. There was quite a wait between courses but eventually our mains came out. We had Thai green and Panang curry, both delicious. When it came to payment we were at this point informed it was cash only as the machine was broken (although reading some other reviews it seems this may just have been an excuse!). We had no cash on us, but were told we could set up a bank transfer! We had trouble doing this as the details given didn’t match, so my partner tried to get cash out although we quickly realised we didn’t have our bank cards with us, just Apple Pay on phones. We tried asking if we could pay on the phone the next day when the machine was working, and the poor waitress in charge said that they had had lots of people doing runners lately and she would end up having to pay for it! The mains were delicious, but the overall service and experience here wasn’t great, I think not helped by obviously poor management, leaving their inexperienced staff to deal with insufficient means to take payment. We won’t be rushing back!

My God, this place is a really hidden jewel of delicious food hidden within a somewhat uncared for row of high street shops. Do not let the appearance put you off because once within it would deserve a Michelin star, if such a thing existed for Asian food. The cook is an absolute genius with an amazing blend of spices and delicate tastes magically interwoven. I'm struggling to find the adjectives to do justice to the food but when I suggested to my brother that it's better than any Indian restaurant I've ever been too, he agreed. I ordered some spicy dishes and he had a mild dish but I loved the sauce his food was in too. Do not hesitate to go to this restaurant. Lastly, if you're looking for vegetarian or vegan food then a variety of these options are also available.

Upon walking in, the waitress was incredibly kind and served us so nicely. When the food was ready, there wasn’t any napkins or knifes and forks as we were getting a takeout. We then asked the other waitress if we could please get napkins and knifes and forks. By this point she was talking with her friends and had been from The time we walked in. She then gave us a cold look and seemed really annoyed that we asked her something while she was talking with her friends. She then replied and said ‘ we just got chopsticks ‘ . The food portions are incredibly small and the taste was quite bland. For a restaurant it seemed a little weird that they only had chopsticks as we don’t know How to eat with chopsticks and I’m sure not everyone does either so we struggled to eat our food. Will not be going back.

We hosted our Christmas party here this year. There were 13 of us in the group and we did an amazing cocktail making masterclass before enjoying a fantastic dinner. We were so well looked after and the experience was top class from the food quality to the service!

Really impressed with the food and staff tonight as they made us really welcome. Our waiter (Mo) was great in guiding us through the menu and making sure we selected the best options. By far the best Bangladeshi restaurant in the area and good value for money.

Haldi is a very welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff. The restaurant is small and compact split into 2 halves. The tables are always very well presented with crisp white table cloths and napkins. On this occasion my daughter and I chose a takeaway. We live in a neighbouring village. They offer a free delivery service within a certain radius. We had onion bhajis to start, we only needed one each as they were huge and delicious. For our mains we had the chicken korma and and king prawn palak, along with mushroom rice, poppadoms and naan bread. Our dishes were very generous and absolutely delicious. I also think very reasonably priced. £41.00 for all that we ate. This restaurant never fails so deliver and also as a takeaway. Thank you so much Shelim and your staff. Highly recommend

First visit for a while . Decor revamped since last visit very nice. Good varied menu choices . Mixed platter starter very nice. I had the meat thali main which was great and hubby had a chicken curry from the specials which he said was very good. Good service and will return .
