The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

Have ordered from them before and will do so again. Chicken dhansak was superb.

Just a great restaurant. Banquet night on a Wednesday is great value. Food is superb and good value every day. Drink and dessert prices very reasonable. Great service , swift without the feeling of being rushed. Always pleasant and courteous. Cannot fault this establishment. Recent refurbishment is really nice and contemporary.

Very friendly and polite food second to none have been comming for some time dont use snywhere else what a gem of a place never been dissapointed

I'm a regular here, eat in & takeaway, & I love their food (both vegetarian & meaty). I've been eating here on average every other week for 3 years. There have been a few times where the sauce seemed like a substitution & not as good as usual, or they haven't had all the ingredients to make the full meal i'd usually order, but with a few small exceptions they're consistently excellent. I'd highly recomend you try this place.

I had an hour in which to eat so wasn't interested in anywhere with a waiting list or that needed a booking, nor anywhere where the prices were upped because of posh decor and "in place" popularity - and there are a few like that in Carlisle! This looked under-appreciated and although I had only a quickly prepared basic Rogan Josh/Pilau Rice and Aloo Gobi dish, all was well cooked and well presented, no complaints anywhere and - a nice touch - the table linen was very high quality and swiftly renewed as soon as guests departed.

El pollo al curry estaba lleno de chiles y tan especiado que no era comestible. Probamos la salsa con el poco pollo que había y esta quedó sosa una vez que se quitaron todos los chiles. Los pescados de fideos también eran sosos y muy poca cantidad de carne. No hay relación calidad-precio y no volveremos a visitarlo. He tenido comida Wagamama en otro lugar y lo disfruté. Thursday September 26th, 2024 8pm The service we received was so good we’ll be going back every time my sisters visits from Dubai and we’ll definitely recommend going there. Parking: right outside and free at the time of our visit. It wasn’t busy in-house at the time but there was a steady stream of uber orders going out the door. We were so warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered 3 dishes and they gave us the option to dull it down fearing it would be too spicy: We kept it spicy! We also fancied Chiya which was not on their menu. They went out of their way to get it sorted for us. The prices were very reasonable and the food was outstanding. It was as great as my grandmothers’ home cooking. This was high quality home cooked food very friendly service. We didn’t stop talking about how good it was for a couple of days. It really was the best restaurant experience the three of us have had in years. Thank you.

Food quality and flavour really poor

I cannot fault the excellent food from the Gurkha Tandoori. The food is slightly different in taste to the traditional Indian takeaway but only because of small changes in the Nepalese way of cooking these dishes. Try it, I am sure you will like it.

This is eat all you can restaurant. Lots of food varieties to choose from starter to dessert, even my choosy mates were satisfied. Its affordable too. Each time I'm in this area,I keep coming back here.
