I booked the private room at Orient for a group meal (10 people). The room was quiet and clean, and it comfortably fit 10 people. I booked by email and the manager (Derrick) was very responsive and provided me with all the information I needed (minimum spend, time slot allotted, etc.). The food was great and the portion sizes were large. The service was excellent - we were not rushed to order or to leave once we had finished our meal (which is often the case in restaurants at China Town). I would definitely visit again.

Terrible food and poor service. The owner's English is worrying and the waiters don't understand English. The bad taste of the food is another problem. If you are considering this restaurant as a clever person‘s advice is never come in.

Superb Indian food and great service. Angel on reception is lovely and a great asset to the business.

We arrived one hour before closing time ordered a bottle of Prosecco amd two mains and a starter . Our friends were nearby and joined as for drinks lets mention it was near closing time so not too busy. Food was ok not amazing as it was so late so what u expected to be served. How shocked we were when a young waitress appeared .(our friend who were sharing drinks with us )and they must order food as its their restaurant policy. We told them they had dinner and they are not hungry She said she had to speak with her manager. Looking at this situation i asked for a bill. It was 112£ ( including their service). I did not feel right they were forcing my friends to order food just before closing time . I felt really bad about her behavior, not sure what's happened she brought us a portion of chips and put on our table so it looks like we have food on table according to their policy i would accept this in a busy day time when tables are in demand but not at closing time. I dont think i would go back there as it was really unpleasant situation Demanding people to order food as they drink. Sorry covid is over

Les prix sont très chers pour ce que c’est (10 pounds 4 bouts d’aubergine….) Personne n’est non plus renversé par son plat Je pense qu’on peut trouver mieux

I go here every Sunday with my best mate for breakfast. Most Sundays we are greeted by Becky who is always very welcoming and helpful and gives the very best service 10/10

Hard to get a seat sometime if you go in large groups but there is a downstairs seating area if upstairs is full. Food is really good and comes fast

Amazingly attentive service from Dar, who remembered me from having eaten at Sala Thong the previous week. She also remembered where I had sat. Fantastic memory as the restaurant is justifiably busy & packed every day/night with diners. Delicious food! We’ll be back! Thank you, Dar, & Sala Thong, for yet another delicious & memorable evening!

Le cadre est très beau La nourriture est délicieuse des aliments frais et de qualité, mais nous avons trouvé l’ambiance un peu trop hautaine, dommage ! À la fin au moment de payer nous avons demander de déduire le montant de 14% du service facturé. Il faut savoir qu’en UK le service n’est pas obligatoire mais il est ajouté automatiquement sur la note ce qui peut faire un montant conséquent en plus. Pas tout le monde le sait et paie la note sans le faire déduire. La politique de ce service n’est pas clair va t il aux serveurs directement ou va t il dans le poche des propriétaires de l’établissement ? pour cela nous le faisons systématiquement déduire de la note car nous trouvons le montant imposé sur le ticket trop élevé ! Laisser un pourboire oui mais à notre convenance et possibilité ! Ainsi au moment de partir cela nous a coûté ni un au revoir ni un merci de la part de la personne qui a encaissé en nous faisant comprendre qu’ils n’étaient pas contents malgré que nous avons payé une note de GBP 269.00 !! Nous avons trouvé ce comportement pas très sympathique et hautin et nous n’y retournerons plus ! Si ce montant n’était pas ajouter systématiquement sur la note mais qu’ils puissent donner le choix au client de laisser ce qu’il souhaite ça serait plus correct.
