The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

Visited Tibetan Kitchen the day after it opened & we were the first in. Had watched a YouTube video about the branch in Chorlton & found out about the Manchester opening on Twitter so were keen to check it out. The owner & staff were very friendly & the whole place was really beautifully decorated & welcoming. We ordered momos, a chai, brown rice with three dishes (butternut squash & paneer, chickpeas & spinach, and deep fried cauliflower with stir fried veg), and a stirfried veg noodles. The chai was really lovely & sweet with ginger & spices. The momos had a nice texture but were a bit bland. We did like it with the chilli on the side & when we asked for more chilli, we were given some. The cauliflower was really delicious as well as the stirfried veg they were served on. The other two dishes were tasty but there wasn't alot of paneer with the butternut squash dish. Veg noodles were tasty but the veg were a bit overcooked so were soft rather than still retaining their crunch. The chilli sauce added to the flavour of the noodles. Overall, we were glad we visited & tried the dishes on offer. The ambience was really nice as well & is a good place to visit for something different.

Visited with my family and a relative on visit. Had a nice dinner. We ordered seafood stew, pork kimchi stew, prawn tempura udon soup, Chimibab ( similar to Katsu chicken with rice and mayo instead of curry sauce ) and of course fried chicken coated in sweet and spicy sauce. Service was great. The gentleman serving us was very friendly, I’m guessing he is the owner. It was a very cold evening, my son and I arrived first and they offered us straight away some complimentary hot roast corn tea which was very kind. Only thing I don’t like about this place is the 10% service charge to your order. The portions are not big for the price. It’s not cheap with the stew costing between £12-15. Bab Bab doesn’t come across as a restaurant, more of a cafe style hence the 10% service charge is not quite justified. But the dishes are tasty especially the fried chicken. Would recommend Bab Bab but be prepared to pay.

Heerlijke krokante gefrituurde kipstukjes! Het is prijzig, maar tegelijkertijd net zo prijzig als een kraampje op een festival. En dat geeft deze omgeving sowieso een beetje. De plek zelf is een absolute aanrader wanneer je in Londen bent. Camden town moet je zeker zijn geweest, helemaal als je verschillende culturen wilt proberen!

Han pasado tantas veces por delante durante años sin probarlo - finalmente lo hicieron y fue bastante bueno en realidad. Curris sabrosos, buenos chapatis, entrantes decentes. No es la derrota mundial y no es la más barata, pero ciertamente he tenido mucho peor.

Excellent food and service , one of the best curry's we've had , and we've had a few over the years . We live in Towcester where the takeaway food is not the best hence the reason to travel further afield for our treat , we're so glad that we did and will now make this our regular Curry House takeaway . One thing i failed to mention was that this Takeaway is one of very few that we've been to that has its kitchen front of house which allows you to watch your food being cooked which means that these guys have nothing to hide as its all on display . driver was down the road and expected us to walk down but i didnt have my keys or shoes. curry meat was very chewy

It was our first takeaway from there Although they forgot to put in the popperdoms the food was lovely. It was hot. Not greasy like some & very tasty. I would definitely order again from there

I order two burger meals I got everything but the burgers and haven’t had any resolve yet still waiting , it’s always just eat with the missing food

Have used lasani for years and always nice. Last nights was tastless, bland the chapattis were heavier than usual and flourery. Dont know if change of chef or what but dissapointing

Rene was great throughout the night. He came over to our table a number of times to top-up our drinks and treated us very well. The atmosphere is classy and elegant, all the staff have a smile on their face. The food is great - a little pricey - with a dedicated vegan menu. Highly recommend.

Really good taste and many vegetarian/vegan options available. Will come back many more times.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews. We came here as part of the Unlimited Asian Tapas and Sushi with Bottomless Drinks experience from Buyagift, and it was great! There were plenty of options on the bottomless menu, and every dish we tried was delicious. The Sichuan Chicken and Yuzu Pork Belly were standouts. The staff were excellent at keeping our drinks topped up, so we definitely got our money's worth. The interactive tables can be a bit temperamental, but the staff were quick to reset them when needed. Overall, a fantastic experience—I’d definitely visit again!
