The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Acogí una cena de negocios aquí por recomendación de un conocido, y fui con expectativas razonables y de buen humor. Era bastante temprano en una tranquila noche de lunes y normalmente uno podría hacer concesiones para eso, especialmente si es un restaurante informal. Si todos se esfuerzan, instintivamente me resisto a publicar una crítica negativa. Pero no esta vez, la experiencia olía a "no nos importa", y sugiero que en el negocio de la hospitalidad, eso es simplemente inaceptable.

Well what a fantastic service we went for. Yes it comes with the high price tag, but when you go for a treat date afternoon and make it a special occasion its worth the splurg. We were looked after from the minute we arrived. A cute placement card to our lovely presented table. We enjoyed the prawns bowl and taco starter with the lemon sole main washed down with some fizz and cocktails. Becs and rhys went out of their way to give us top notch hospitality. The dishes had a good wait between the courses and the cocktails james made were fab. Every part of the menu was described perfectly. We will be back, thankyou

I hate leaving bad comments but i need to be honest… Me and my friends ordered a platter of meat to share, but 40pound for this little portion is just not acceptable, and the pork belly was so stiff and pale I didn’t even bother to cook the second one. The waiters are nice, and the whole environment but the food quality rlly needs to catch up. I still loved the pajeon and soup we ordered, but the meat are just not worth it at all

Thank you all for a great meal yesterday- we were a party of 8 heading to the panto after. The food was really lovely, super tasty and beautifully presented. Efficiently delivered to us all and we had plenty of time to enjoy it .This was our first visit but will most certainly not be our last. Thank you again

This is our go to restaurant, for special occasions to weekend treats. Never disappointed with the food or service.

Always an excellent meal and great value. We went here as a family of four and had a meal including a bottle of wine for £100 so superb value. So much food left over we had take away boxes for lunch the day after.

Este restaurante tiene todo, potencialmente, para ofrecer, y en sus primeros días era insuperable. Sin embargo, parece haber perdido el rumbo y carece de vitalidad, calidad de servicio o excelencia alimentaria. Dado el excelente pedigrí de The Connaught, seguramente volverá a su gloria anterior, pero por ahora ten paciencia. Nuestra visita fue durante un almuerzo tranquilo con solo cuatro mesas ocupadas. Una mesa frente a nosotros se quejaba, con frecuencia, de la baja velocidad del servicio de cocina y nos dimos cuenta de lo mismo y nos preguntamos si el Chef o la cocina no habían llegado por delante de los invitados y tal vez esta era la razón de la ubicación de la mesa. Calidad Alimentaria La calidad de la comida era agradable, o satisfactorio, pero ciertamente no excelente, y no de un estándar que se esperaría de The Grill at The Connaught. Nada era específicamente pobre pero no inspiraba. Relación calidad-precio Si bien todo Londres ha visto un aumento significativo de los precios, inicialmente culpado por el Brexit, pero ahora una herramienta del comercio de la hostelería para repercutir los precios, The Grill ciertamente ha tenido su parte justa de aumentos de precios, de tal manera que ahora se siente muy caro en comparación con sus competidores por el estándar y la calidad ofrecida. Somos conscientes de que ha habido algunos cambios en la gestión desde nuestra visita, pero no hemos oído hablar de ningún cambio en lo que respecta al personal de la cocina, o la procedencia de la comida, por lo que sugeriría por el momento que las visitas se suspendan hasta que vea críticas más favorables.

Great food brilliant salad dressing pomegrante and balsamic combined to perfection

Went for a quick drink and food at this beautiful pub, i walked in and was greeted straight away, the manager Katie couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great experience and we had everything we needed. The food was on point, bar staff was great, would definitely come back.

Visited the Smoking Lobster with friends for out of season lunch (2 or 3 course). Very friendly and attentive waitress and fast service. Friends had the bream and I had the teriyaki steak burger. Bream was OK but dry, burger was ordinary. In all a bit disappointing for a lunch costing £75 a couple at a prestigious restaurant.

The chicken shish and wings are cooked to perfection at Efezade. Tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. A real treat!

Absolutely lovely restaurant, first time we've been and we will certainly be going back. The staff were really friendly and the food was amazing. Thank you!
