The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

I had this burger years ago while at university, and I’ve never had a burger as good. Makes me want to fly back to the UK just for it. Perhaps it’s nostalgia or just fond memories but the portion size and quality for price was much appreciated as a student.

Came here on Monday night. Lovely venue, and nice beer. The absolute highlights were the people working, though. The security guy on the door was the nicest security guard I've encountered in London. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The guy behind the bar was super friendly and remembered our drinks from the previous round. Thank you so much. A venue is nothing without a fantastic team, and you have it!

I have had the burger plus meal, double ringer burger, and bbq wings. Thank God they are have changed for the better 🙏 food is amazing and it's how it used to be years ago when it was good. I haven't tried the chicken on the bone yet so can't speak for that however the chips, wings and burgers are perfect 👌

It's always an amazing atmosphere at the Hare & Hounds. It's also a great place to run into people you haven't seen for awhile. Lisa and the team make it very easy to relax and catch up with people over a few drinks and a bowl of chips. My friends ordered pies and I was so pleased to see that they were proper pies not just a pastry lid. Keep up the good work team H & H. You are a credit to East Sheen.

I used to love this place but I can tell that there's been a change of staff. The flavours are no longer deep and rich. Whoever the old chef was bring him back!!

Went for a beer and Sunday lunch. Pub looked very nice from outside and service was good. Butcombe Gold was the ale. Ordered two Sunday roasts.. beef (£16 each). The food came out quite quick and looked good but the beef was poor. It was very chewy and extremely fatty. All veg, Yorkies and gravy was good though. Waitress spoke to us after the meal and asked if all was okay. We said yes, except for the beef as you can see, most of it has been left .. it is very chewy and mainly fat. She apologised and that was it. Sorry to say, but will not be returning.

I had the pleasure of DJing at my good friends 40th birthday party here and the experience was incredible from start to finish. I got there mid afternoon to begin to set up and the friendly staff welcomed me in and let me get on with setting up. Providing me with and assistance I needed and helping me out when I forgot an extension lead I couldn't have asked for more. On the night of the event the food and drink was perfect and the staff again were on point leaving nothing to chance. A great venue with a great team I would highly recommend if you have a function or an event that you get quote for this great venue

Absolutely shocking service, order on uber eats but with no option to input salad options and sauce etc you’re then forced to call the store to give this information, However after 19 attempts at calling this place they don’t answer the phone and what you end up with is a dry kebab fit for the bin NEVER ORDERING AGAIN

When we got the food it tastes like card bored and that’s being nice !!!!!
