The Barge is located right in the centre of Grimsby, if you are here drinking then it's a must visit place. The barge itself was being painted when we got there which will end up looking good and giving it a nice refresh. Inside is nice, good jukebox and nice service. Beer is on thr pricey side but worth it - there are a lot if dives in this town so you get what you pay for. Ample outdoor seating which was nice in the sun. Would recommend.

We pre booked a table on the 9th of December for a big table of people. All the food was late or poorly cooked 3 of us waited over half hour while other people was trying to attempt to eat there's Then the staff said they're gonna re cook it well if you can't get it right first time don't bother. We sat there for an hour and half in an empty pub it shouldn't of took that long When we pre ordered food 15 days in advance. I've tried to show the owner the quality of the food we did get and she just threatened us with the police as we said we are not paying for poor food and food we didn't even get! The owner even said she has only got one chef and one person prepping food.

Ordered a shandy. They didn't have any lemonade! No pies, no lasagne. So opted for two fish finger butties. Sorry but we have to be honest, they hardly filled the bread. Fish was gray and rubbery. Not worth half the price. We went into this pub because it's dog freindy which is great, but won't be eating here again.

Tucked away between the large venue's across from happy days club but if you do spot it well worth a visit, next door to a chippy. Run by working class folk with a friendly attitude and friendly prices. Our favourite is the Sunday carvery with generous portions and to top it all comes with a pudding included in the price. A good extensive menu at affordable prices for families and couples. Large table's, good seating but what make ginghams our favourite is the helpful friendly staff and atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Decided to give this a shot as it is advertised as a family bar with entertainment. One of our party has allergies/intolerances so needed to check the ingredients on menu. A young man (wish I had his name) struggled to find relevant info but he did check and eventually managed to find info sheets and bring to our table. Food ordered and didn't wait too long and it was lovely and hot. Unfortunately no one attempted to clear our table for over an hour forcing us to move to another one so the childrens entertainer could be enjoyed by us all and yes we did enjoy the corny jokes! The soft play was also used and kept grandchild happy but it really needs a deep deep clean it was disgusting in places.

We went in at lunchtime on a Friday off-peak and were the only customers. Staff saw us enter, we went straight to the bar and waited for what felt like an eternity to be served as they went out the back as soon as they saw us coming... Prices were quite expensive. The atmosphere just felt off and awkward, it was not a pleasant experience.

We visited on a lovely sunny early November late morning. The coffee shop is in an excellent location, opposite a car park -£2 for the day in winter and only c 70 yards from the sea. It is well appointed with plenty of tables and we had a nice window one looking out to the town. We just had a coffee and cake, both of which were very good. The lady suggested we had a half shot latte as we don't like it strong and she even came to check that it was ok which it certainly was. The sandwiches looked good and the food and drinks were very competitively priced. I am amazed at some previous, what I would call nasty reviews. It seems popular with the locals with a nice ambience and we couldn't fault it - we will certainly be back.

We called in for breakfast recently. The service was really quick, the food was of a great standard and piping hot (the last place I ate a cooked brekky was Caesars Palace Las Vegas and was not a patch on this one). Great coffee too. As we thumbed through the Menu and looked at the boards to see what offers were on, we were astouinded at the value for money. Scampi, chips and peas for a fiver ? Unbelieveable. I will definitely return next time I'm in Woodall Spa. alternatively, I might move there, eat at Little Dorrits twice a day and not bother doing any shopping ! NOTE; car park opposite is FREE for two hours, how can you go wrong ?
