A large party of 24 of us enjoyed a lovely afternoon here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food had been preordered and was served hot in a very organised manner so that we were all able to eat together. Everyone, without exception, enjoyed the food they had ordered. We literally couldn’t fault it. From initial booking to four extra people needing to be added at the last minute, the team dealt brilliantly with our event. The staff went over and above, allowing us to bring our own cake and providing us with plates to serve it. All in all it was a lovely afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere with good, tasty, good value for money food and super efficient, helpful and accommodating staff. We will definitely be returning! 😊

Absolutely top notch. Best Sunday lunch in the area and a really fun vibe with live music. Staff were excellent and the owners super friendly - 10 out of 5!!

Although we were warned there was a wait for the food, when it arrived the food was faultless. I had the salmon with green beans, potatoes and tomatoes, the best part was it was delicious, succulent and hot from the first bite to the last. My husband had a pie with mash and green veg with rich gravy, he said, “it was very good”. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for one night, as a stop over, when on our way up to North Yorkshire for a short break. A lovely hotel with lots of character. All staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very bright ... double aspect windows.... and very clean. Nice en_suite bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
