It will be my first time attending the restaurant with my parents and in the countryside. I love my local food 😋.

Proper old school style pub. Very nice staff. Drinks were a little expensive though, so only had 1!

Went for a family birthday 9 of us food was delicious service was great we all had a lovely relaxing time. Thankyou will definitely be back .

A large party of 24 of us enjoyed a lovely afternoon here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food had been preordered and was served hot in a very organised manner so that we were all able to eat together. Everyone, without exception, enjoyed the food they had ordered. We literally couldn’t fault it. From initial booking to four extra people needing to be added at the last minute, the team dealt brilliantly with our event. The staff went over and above, allowing us to bring our own cake and providing us with plates to serve it. All in all it was a lovely afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere with good, tasty, good value for money food and super efficient, helpful and accommodating staff. We will definitely be returning! 😊

Terrible all round! kids running riot, food was pathetic - ... supposed to be a sizzling pub...there was no sizzle on the plate....in fact it was ironically cold and the most smallest, dry tasteless fillet of chicken I've ever had!!! (when I queried the waiter he said he waited for said food to stop sizzling as it was burning his hand) with a very small portion of peppers and onion, chips rock hard.. they served my partner first then myself 10 minutes later... which is bad etiquette!! the burger and chips were miniscule - cold, overcooked and tasteless, it's a shame as this used to be a good place with delicious food, gone way downhill since the refurb. All in all a let down. Avoid!!!!

I love this place so friendly and a down to earth pub plenty of laughs and love playing "sticky's" on Friday fun for all family. In summer nice to sit outside and have a cold beer and plenty of room for the children to run off steam

Avoid ! As previously stated had ups & downs over the years and it’s rock bottom now ! Inside grubby / dirty and outside area very very neglected too-don’t go !

Food was of a very good standard and really tasty- I had the roast beef and the vegetables were lovely and cooked to perfection- thank you

An impressive influx of people at Breakfast club - my colleague even set the flippin tone at 10am! Well what can I say, yet another steady breakfast, a little more pricey than the young vanish but nevertheless just as tasty! I went old school with a sausage and bacon bap which was delicious! There was a few full English which is a set menu by the way! If an establishment lets you have a beer with your brekky then that’s automatically bonus points ain’t that right JH! We had a great view of the tele which we watched the first half of some boring St mirren game. This breakfast sorted us out nicely in preparation for our important match and even more important big night out! Kudos to Mary and the gang!

Had a wonderful afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. Delicious food and huge pot of tea. They went above and beyond to make it a special occasion.

I have visited this venue twice in May & July.Lovely spacious dining hall but can be noisy if very busy as it's high ceilings. Super fresh food & Cakes etc . Friendly staff , reasonable price Mushroom risotto (watch out hard stalks) Lovely views, parking free. A lovely spot.

visited today Tuesday 7th May2024 and not been here for a very long time. Was very quiet so getting a table was easy. Drinks were good, staff friendly, clean toilets

Absolutely top notch. Best Sunday lunch in the area and a really fun vibe with live music. Staff were excellent and the owners super friendly - 10 out of 5!!
