The best restaurants serving British food in Corbar High Peak East Midlands

We stayed at the Lee Wood Hotel for 4 days and the stay was perfect, staff were brilliant. We only ate one night but wished we had eaten there every night as the foor was excellent. Certainly breakfast was plentiful and the best breakfast for a long time

Great atmosphere. Attentive staff. Good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely be coming here again every time we are in Buxton

Best location in Buxton, a lovely large space, next to the park and botanical gardens, very good kitchen, lovely food. Yummmmmmm

I and my husband went for dinner .Restaurant section was empty . When I order my drink sprite waitress asked me pint or half and I realised that is not in the bottle so I wanted to change bottle of diet coke. After that strangely she was questioning that why I wanted bottle not the other option . Anyway then we ordered 2 starters , 2 mains and 1 puding. As a starter we both ordered the soup and it was ok. And the main course I had the fish which is disappointing. It was too tough , just boiled fish not even seasoned . It comes with raw onion ,some black olives, 1 bigh dried tomato and 1 egg. And again chef didn’t even put a pinch of salt in it. I finished the fish because I was so hungry and I didn’t want to waste it. Never come back again .
