Enjoyed our all day breakfast. Decent selection to choose from. They were short staffed but didn't have to wait long at all for our food. Very tasty and will pop in again when in Melton.

My wife and I were on coach trip to the Great Central Railway. We stopped in Melton Mowbray for a couple of hours and decided to have lunch. We saw Miss B's sign and thought we would have a meal there. I had the steak pie with stilton. It was an excellent choice, I really enjoyed it. My wife had a cheese and ham toastie which she also enjoyed.

After years of travelling up and down the A1, on Sunday morning I turned off and visited Melton Mowbray in search for a pork pie. I was surprized that the High Street was not full of pork pie shops. But on a back street I found this charming little cafe. An excellent cup of coffee and I purchased a traditional pie, which |i took home and later had for my tea. Well worth the detour.

I had a bacon & fresh tomatoes cob. Nicely done. Sue had toasties with salad. Complimented by a strong pot of tea. Lovely experience. We were invited to sit in the garden area at rear of cafe. Very clean & private. Friendly staff & we were made very welcome. Thank you.

Excellent simple food with attentive service in good surroundings I had the spiced pumpkin soup which was home made and served with a choice of gluten free breads

Pub very festive and cosy but unfortunately it was the worst Sunday lunch I have had locally. The menu was a lot different to the website.regarding choices of meat. We both ordered beef one medium one well done Both were well done and carved thickly, very difficult to cut, the meat was dry and very chewy. The presentation was awful, six different vegetables piled on the plate With an overcooked Yorkshire pudding placed on top. The cauliflower cheese served separately was actually quite nice and warm. The rest of the vegetables were tasteless and Luke warm. The gravy was warm and tasty. The two young waitresses were very young but pleasant enough. They did ask if everything was ok but we said nothing as it wasn’t their fault I have eaten their in the evening and it was fine If the proprietors read this review they really need to improve the Sunday lunch as it is a lovely pub

We visited in the first week of opening so there was still a sense of things settling down but our tuna mayo rolls and cakes were delicious and there is a very good gluten free offer. Mrs B has a clear vision of what she wants to create, a modern take on a traditional tea room good food catering for all tastes and needs at the heart of it. Good luck to her
